Payment for Accumulated Unused Sick Leave. Upon separation from employment prior to July 1, 2021 for any reason, except for those set forth in Article XIV §3, above; the employee shall be entitled to severance pay. Said severance pay will be calculated by the Committee as follows: for every day of unused accumulated sick leave remaining on the effective date of the termination of this Agreement, the Committee shall pay the Employee a sum of eighty dollars and no cents ($80.00).

Payment for Accumulated Unused Sick Leave. 1. Any teacher who retires according to the provisions of the T.P.A.F. in order to receive immediate benefits as opposed to “deferred” benefits and has fifteen (15) continuous years of teaching service in the Port Republic School District or who has twenty (20) continuous years of teaching in the Port Republic School District and who elects to “defer” retirement benefits in accordance with the provisions of T.P.A.F. shall be eligible for payment for unused sick leave.

  • Payment for Unused Sick Leave a. An employee with less than ten (10) years of continuous University service, as defined herein, who separates from the University shall not be paid for any unused sick leave. For employees appointed on or before 1/7/03 University service includes continuous employment by the University or the State of Florida.

  • Compensation for Unused Sick Leave 1. Employees who enter County service after July 1, 1979, shall not be eligible for compensation for any of their unused sick leave credits.
