Payment for periods of long service leave. Subject to clause 35.6 (method of averaging hours), an employee who is taking long service leave is to be paid the wages he or she would have received in respect of the ordinary time he or she would have worked had he or she not been on leave during the relevant period and will not include overtime, penalty rates, shift allowances, special rates, and any other extraneous payment of a like nature.
