PAYMENT FOR UNUSED LEAVE AND VACATION. An administrator with continuous satisfactory service at the time of termination, resignation, retirement from the District, or death shall receive a financial payment equivalent to the negotiated rate (currently 45%) of the accumulated unused paid leave times the duty rate of pay during the final year of employment. PAYMENT FOR UNUSED LEAVE AND VACATION. 1. Classified employees with a permanent hire date on or before June 30, 2019 with continuous satisfactory service at the time of retirement, resignation, termination, or death in shall receive a financial payment at the rate of 45% times the hourly rate of pay during the final year of employment for any unused leave days. Unused vacation days will be paid at 100% of the hourly rate in accordance with Section 16, paragraph H “vacations.”

  • Payment for Unused Sick Leave a. An employee with less than ten (10) years of continuous University service, as defined herein, who separates from the University shall not be paid for any unused sick leave. For employees appointed on or before 1/7/03 University service includes continuous employment by the University or the State of Florida.

  • Pay for Unused Sick Leave Unused sick leave not to exceed 70 days will be paid at the rate of $50 per day when the teacher retires or leaves U.S.D. 506 employment, provided the teacher has a minimum of 10 years of service in U.S.D. 506. Article VI: Activity Ticket Each teacher of U.S.D. 506 shall be issued an activity ticket, which shall be honored at all regular school functions held within the district. Said ticket shall not be honored at basketball tournaments and special events. Said ticket shall be honored for employee, spouse, and children who have not yet graduated from high school. The Board of Education will have an expectation that those teachers in attendance at school functions will assume a reasonable amount of general supervision as needed.

  • Payment for period of leave (a) Payment to an Employee in respect of long service leave shall be made in one of the following ways:

  • Accumulation of Vacation Leave Credits 31.1.1 An employee shall earn in respect of each fiscal year, annual vacation leave with pay at the following rates for each calendar month in which the employee receives at least seventy-five (75) hours’ pay:

  • Weeks Vacation Subject to Article 17.08 and Article 17.01 (a) (ii), employees shall be entitled to take five (5) weeks vacation leave with pay during the first and subsequent complete fiscal years following the date in which they complete fourteen (14) years of service. Such leave shall be earned at the rate of two and one-twelfth (2 1/12) days for each completed calendar month of service.

  • Use of Vacation Leave for Sick Leave Purposes The Employer may allow an employee who has used all of his or her sick leave to use vacation leave for sick leave purposes as provided in Article 12.2 A. An employee who has used all of his or her sick leave may use vacation leave for sick leave purposes as provided in Article 12.2 B – H.

  • SECTION 4 - VACATION 4.1 Employee shall be entitled to accrue and take vacation leave in accordance with the policy applicable to employees of Manitoba.
