Payroll Deduction. 1. The Treasurer shall make payroll deductions upon receipt of signed employee authorization for the following areas: Conseco Insurance Cancer Aid Program Tax Sheltered Annuities (upon completion of plan enrollment) Hospitalization/Major Medical/Life Insurance Dental Insurance Credit Union Fund for Children and Public Education (FCPE) (If at least 10 bargaining unit members sign up by October 1 of any given contract year) United Way 2. If any of these deductions as listed in this section changes, the name of the entity the new name will be recognized and honored for Article 8 Section G. 3. The Board agrees to deduct membership dues of the Association, its unified affiliates and other affiliated organizations in the manner prescribed below: a. The Association will inform each of its members and prospective members of the voluntary nature of his/her authorization for deduction(s) including the prescribed procedure utilizing said authorization and the provisions and procedures for revoking an authorization. b. The Association agrees to distribute and collect prescribed authorization forms from members of the bargaining unit. Payroll Deduction. The Board shall provide, upon written authorization of the employee, payroll deductions for the following:
A. Professional Dues
1. This provision shall be eligible for apply only to those health-related insurance premiums that are not totally provided by the Board.
D. Tax-sheltered annuities.

Once a teacher has enrolled in a plan the teacher may continue on payroll deduction even though the total enrollment of full-time teachers drops below ten percent (10%). 2.8 An employee, who has previously authorized the City to make KCPOA deductions and who wishes to cancel such authorization, may do so only in writing through the case KCPOA office at any time. It shall be the responsibility of terminationKCPOA to forward such written cancellation and notice to the City on a timely basis. Unauthorized deductions shall be the responsibility of KCPOA.
2.9 When the member has no earnings during a particular pay period, no membership dues, deductions, or any other authorized deductions shall be withheld from the next payroll check in the case of revocationfuture earnings to cover that period.

2.12 In compliance with this ArticleCalifornia’s AB 119, new hires in the bargaining unit represented by KCPOA may receive a union card with her/his new employee orientation packet. KCPOA shall be permitted one (1) hour after each new hire orientation session to talk to new Unit members to explain rights and benefits under the MOU.
6. (e) Monies so deducted from contract carriers' pay shall be remitted to the Union on either a weekly, fortnightly, monthly or quarterly basis at the Company's election, together with all necessary information to enable the reconciliation and crediting of subscriptions to contract carriers' membership accounts, including, but not limited to, names, addresses, and phone numbers.
(f) Where a contract carrier has already authorised the deduction of Union membership fees in writing from his or her pay prior to this clause taking effect, nothing in this clause shall be read as requiring the contract carrier to make a fresh authorisation in order for such deductions to commence or continue.
(g) The Union shall advise the Company of any change to the amount of membership fees made under its rules, provided that this does not occur more than once in any calendar year. Such advice shall be in the form of a letter signed by the Association President or Treasurer. The amount schedule of fees to be deducted specifying weekly, fortnightly, monthly, or quarterly as the case may not be changed more frequently than once each twelve (12) be. The Union shall give the Company a minimum of two months' notice of any such change.

Changes in the amount of the monthly membership dues must be delivered to the CITY at a place designated by the CITY at least thirty (30) calendar days prior to the last pay day of the calendar month prior to the change becoming effective.
15.6 All sums deducted by the CITY shall be remitted to the organization, at an address given to the CITY by the organization, by the tenth (10) calendar day following the pay period when the deductions were made, together with a list of names and the amount deducted for each employee or for whom a deduction was made. Payroll Deduction. 1. 2.12 In compliance with this ArticleCalifornia’s AB 119, new hires in the bargaining unit represented by KCPSA may receive a union card with her/his new employee orientation packet. KCPSA shall be permitted one (1) hour after each new hire orientation session to talk to new Unit members to explain rights and benefits under the MOU.
6. Payroll Deduction. 1A. This Article shall become effective on August 1 of the year the Association notifies the Employer of its intent to implement payroll deduction of Association dues, assessments, and/or political action committee (PAC) contributions.
B. Any bargaining unit employee may voluntarily become a member of the Association. A member of the Association or an employee who has applied for membership may sign and deliver to the Employer a signed form authorizing the payroll deduction of dues, assessments, and/or contributions to the Association and/or its PAC. 2. If any combination of these deductions such associations as listed in this section changes, said teacher individually and voluntarily authorizes the name of the entity the new name will be recognized and honored for Article 8 Section G.

Payroll Deduction. 15.01 The Union shall have the sole and exclusive right to have membership dues deducted for Employees in the Bargaining Unit by the Board during the term of this Agreement.
5.02 The Board agrees to deduct the Union dues for every Employee who authorizes the Board to do so in writing.
