PCW Medication Awareness and Assistance Allowance. Where an appropriately trained Personal Care Worker agrees to assist residents to take their medication, which will only occur in clinically appropriate circumstances, then the PCW will be paid an allowance of 5% of the relevant allowance rate for all hours of the rostered shift, irrespective of the amount of time taken to assist with medications. Such allowance may be paid in addition to the Leader Allowance.

  • Employee Assistance Plan The Board shall make available to eligible employees and their eligible family members, at no cost, an Employee Assistance Plan (EAP). Employee participation in and/or referral to the EAP shall be voluntary and confidential, except as to any disclosures required by applicable state law. All personal treatment records generated as a result of an eligible individual’s utilization of the EAP shall be maintained by the service provider and shall not be shared with the Board unless otherwise authorized by the eligible employee or the covered dependent, or by operation of applicable law. The contact person for the EAP services to be made available under this Agreement shall not be employed by the Board of Education.

  • TUITION ASSISTANCE PROGRAM POLICY The Tuition Assistance Program supports Queen's commitment to the development of employee skills and abilities. Departments are asked to endorse employees who wish to enrol in academic courses or attend training courses that will enhance their personal growth or ability to perform their duties. The Tuition Assistance Program is divided into 2 components - the Educational Development Fund which pays tuition fees for Queen's credit courses, and the Professional Development Fund which reimburses tuition fees (to a maximum of $400 per year) for work-related courses at other recognized educational institutions.   • Employee and Family Assistance Plan The CODC PRO Care Plan is an industry-funded employee and family assistance plan for employees and their eligible family members according to the participation of sponsoring organizations and employers as well as Plan eligibility rules. As a means of correcting job performance problems, the State may offer referral to treatment for alcohol, nicotine, drug, and stress related problems such as marital, family, emotional, financial, medical, legal, or other personal problems. The intent of this section is to assist an employee's voluntary efforts to treat alcoholism, nicotine use, or a drug-related or a stress-related problem.
