Period of Leave. (a) The period of leave will be for 12 months, from 1 January to 31 December. (b) Participants will not be able to return to a position at the same school during the 12 month leave period. (c) Should alternative employment be sought during the year of leave, the employee is to advise the employer. (d) Should employment as an employee be pursued within a Catholic school, only relief work may be undertaken by the employee. (e) The year of leave, the fifth year, will be taken in accordance with the conditions as prescribed within Clause 18 - Leave Without Pay of this Agreement.
