PICKETS. Employees shall perform all work as assigned or directed, including work on facilities jointly maintained with telephone or other companies, not withstanding the presence of a picket line or the existence of a labor dispute involving employees of any other employer, unless there is an imminent danger of physical harm.
PICKETS. It shall not be a violation of this Agreement to refuse to cross a legally established picket line recognized by the Building Trades.
PICKETS. Solid 5/8 inch square pickets with either forged or cast iron finials. Finial: [Type F-5, Spade] Rails: Steel channels, 3/4 inch by 1-1/2 inch by 1/8 inch thick. FABRICATION, GENERAL Shop Assembly: Preassemble fence in shop to greatest extent possible to minimize field splicing and assembly. Disassemble units only as necessary for shipping and handling limitations. Use connections that maintain structural value of joined pieces. Clearly mark units for reassembly and coordinated installation. Attach cast iron picket finials and post caps with stainless steel set screws after painting and finishing of pickets, posts, finials, and caps. Welding of finials to pickets and caps to posts will not be accepted. Straighten pickets. Maximum deviation from straight shall be 1/8 inch in 4 feet. Shear and punch metals cleanly and accurately. Remove burrs. Ease exposed edges to a radius of approximately 1/32 inch (1 mm), unless otherwise indicated. Form bent-metal corners to smallest radius possible without causing grain separation or otherwise impairing work. All forging shall be coal forged. Provide castings that are sound and free of warp or defects which impair strength or appearance. Weld pickets to rails and weld brackets to posts. Make all welds continuous, to comply with the following: Use materials and methods that minimize distortion and develop strength and corrosion resistance of base metals. Obtain fusion without undercut or overlap. At exposed connections, finish exposed welds and surfaces smooth and blended so no roughness shows after finishing and contour of welded surface matches that of adjacent surface. Provide for anchorage of type indicated; coordinate with supporting structure. Fabricate and space anchoring devices to secure metal fence rigidly in place. Allow for thermal movement resulting from the following maximum change (range) in ambient and surface temperatures by preventing buckling, opening up of joints, overstressing of components, failure of connections, and other detrimental effects. Base engineering calculation on surface temperatures of materials due to both solar heat gain and nighttime-sky heat loss. PICKETS. It shall be a violation of this Agreement and a proper subject of disciplinary action for any employee to refuse to cross or work behind any picket line at the City’s place of business or at any City job site. However, this section shall not be construed to require any employee to cross or work behind any primary picket line at any place other than the City’s place of business or at any City job site. Neither the City, the Union nor any employee shall induce or encourage or in any manner interfere with an employee’s right to cross or work behind any picket line.

PICKETS. Article 28:01 The Employer will not require employees to cross or otherwise fail to recognize a legal picket line. Employees shall not be required to cross an illegal picket line where there is risk of loss of life or limb.
PICKETS. The Company recognizes that an individual may elect not to enter upon a non-client property involved in a primary labor dispute which has been sanctioned by the Union, it being understood that services will continue to be provided that are covered by the Americans with Disabilities Act.
