Policy Familiarisation and Induction Sample Clauses

Policy Familiarisation and Induction. Casual academic staff who are employed to deliver a series of lectures, tutorials or demonstrations amounting to at least one contact hour per week for a complete teaching period, and who have not been employed previously by the University on this basis, or on a full-time or fractional time basis, are expected to attend a session of up to 5 hours for induction and/or policy familiarisation. Staff who attend such a session will be paid at the “other academic duties” rate for the length of the session.
