Posting and Filling Vacancies. 1. A vacancy shall be defined as an unoccupied bargaining unit position in a new job classification or an unoccupied bargaining unit position in an existing job classification. When it is necessary to fill a vacancy a notice, along with a statement of qualifications required for the performance of the job, shall be posted for a period of six (6) work days. In addition to the minimum qualifications the posting shall contain the following information:
