Preconstruction Work. Section 1452(a)(2) of the Safe Drinking Water Act (42 U.S.C. 300j–12(a)(2)) is amended—
Preconstruction Work. Friends shall be responsible for all costs and expenses associated with the following pre-construction work, including, without limitation: preparing the Approved Designs; obtaining any permits required for the construction of the Trail Improvements; the baseline Phase I environmental site assessment prepared on behalf of the Town and Friends; the costs of obtaining easements, if any; and the preparation of any other design work or specifications that may be required for proper completion of the Trail Improvements. Friends acknowledges that the costs for which Friends shall be responsible include, without limitation, hours incurred by staff of the Town’s Department of Public Works. Time spent by the Director of Public Works shall be reimbursed at $100 per hour. Time spent by the staff Civil Engineer shall be reimbursed at $53 per hour. Time spent by any other Professional Engineer shall be reimbursed at $100 per hour. The Town will waive reimbursement of the first $10,000 of the Town’s expenses. Friends shall ensure that the Approved Designs are in accordance with all LOTCIP requirements. Friends shall prepare the request for proposals for the construction of the Trail Improvements (the “RFP”) and shall forward the RFP to the Designated Official and CTDOT for review and to obtain an Authorization to Bid.
Preconstruction Work. If specified in a Release, Contractor shall provide the Preconstruction Work for a Project set forth in this Section 3.2. Owner may add to and deduct from such Preconstruction Work in the Release and as otherwise allowed herein. Upon execution of a Release by the Parties, Contractor shall commence and proceed expeditiously with the Preconstruction Work.
Preconstruction Work. The Contractor shall initially provide preconstruction services to the project team. The cost of the contract will be based on negotiated expenses as well as unit rates for the Project Staff and support staff that will participate on the Project. As an integral part of the design team, the Contractor will provide input on schedule, phasing, plan quality, constructability, materials availability and cost throughout the preconstruction portion of the contract. Specific preconstruction services may include:
Preconstruction Work. The consulting services to be performed by Contractor pursuant to this Agreement and a Release.
Preconstruction Work. The preconstruction services (defined here and referred to in the LLB Agreements as the “Preconstruction Work”) consists of reviewing the Proposed Project’s Drawings and Specifications during the design of the Project to identify and note all deficiencies, incongruities and inconsistencies that may affect constructability of the Project including, but not limited to, design and specification omissions, incomplete and/or inconsistent plans, details and specifications, and any lack of coordination, together with all other appropriate, necessary and/or required services to facilitate and prepare for the successful development and construction of the Project. The Preconstruction Work also includes, but is not limited to, the following tasks: (i) design meetings with the Architects and engineers (“A/E”); (ii) review and validation of estimates prepared by the Architect; (iii) preparation of a master critical path method schedule for the Project; (iv) value engineering; and (v) preparation of cost estimates or updated cost estimates as follows:
