Pregnancy I Parental Leave. The Board will grant a leave of absence without pay to pregnant women in accordance with the Employment Standards Act as amended and in accordance with Federal Statutes. Extensions to the minimum maternity leave as defined in the Employment Standards Act shall be a leave of absence with salary deduction and must be applied for in accordance with Procedure for Obtaining Leave. For a maximum period of fifty-two (52) weeks maternity/parental leave, the Board will maintain the Board's share of the applicable benefits. As per the Central Terms (2014-2017) the following Supplementary Employment Benefit (SEB) Plan will apply:

Related to Pregnancy I Parental Leave

  • Pregnancy/Parental Leave Pregnancy/Parental Leave will be granted in accordance with the provisions of the Employment Standards Act as amended from time to time.

  • Maternity/Adoption/Parental Leave a) In accordance with the Saskatchewan Employment Act an employee shall be granted maternity, adoption, and/or parental leave of absence without pay.
