Salary Deduction. Two (2) additional days under the provisions of this section may be granted, with the deduction of a substitute rate of pay from the teacher’s salary.
Salary Deduction. Salary deduction for absences for full-time faculty which are covered by this Agreement shall be computed by the following ratio: Each day of such absence shall result in the deduction of 1/156 of the faculty member’s regular salary. For academic adjunct faculty members, the deduction per hour of absence will be based on the faculty member’s hourly rate.
Salary Deduction. Whenever a teacher is absent from work for reasons other than those covered by paid time off, professional work, or other approved reasons, there shall be a deduction made for each day of absence at the teacher’s daily salary rate. This deduction will be made whether a substitute is hired or not.
Salary Deduction. The salary deduction for participation in the 403b program will be in equal installments for each pay period paid directly to the selected vendor through payroll deduction.

Salary Deduction. The Tenant acknowledges that pursuant to the Public Xxxxxxxxx Xxxxxxx Xxx 0000 the Landlord is entitled to have the rent or any other charges deducted from the Tenant's salary. The Tenant hereby acknowledges such entitlement of the Landlord and authorises the Landlord to deduct the rent and any subsequent variation of rent from their salary during the term of the lease.
Salary Deduction. A. Bargaining unit members shall be provided information at the time of their employment on all mandatory and optional deductions from their paychecks.
1. Mandatory deductions include: Federal Withholding Tax (income tax), F.I.C.A. (social security), and deductions required under the New Hampshire Retirement System.
2. Optional deductions include: Income Protection Insurance, Tax Sheltered Annuities, The Service Federal Credit Union and the bargaining unit members' Association dues. The Association agrees to hold the School Board harmless relative to the collection and disbursement of dues.
B. All salary deductions other than those regulated by the Federal or State Government will be deducted or terminated only upon written approval of the employee.
C. The School Board reserves the right to determine the means and method for application, change and termination procedures in accordance with the law and which provides adequate records and minimizes the work load of the business office.
D. The School Board will provide timely notification to bargaining unit members on changes in procedure.
Salary Deduction. An Employee who is the victim of a school related assault shall suffer no loss of salary or accumulated sick leave provided such assault was in no respect provoked or caused by the Employee, and the Employee is acting pursuant to Board policy and administrative direction. This section shall be effective for ninety (90) calendar days following any such assault or until the Employee shall qualify for disability income from any source.
Salary Deduction. If you elect to have your retirement contributions made on a deduction basis, 5% will be deducted from your biweekly paycheck for the Retirement Choice contract. There are no immediate tax savings for this program. Upon retirement, you would not pay income tax on the amount you contributed during your working years. However, you have to pay tax on interest earned from your investments and on the College's share, but not until retirement.
