Preventive Medicine. Upon approval of the appointing authority, an employee may be allowed sick leave with full pay not to exceed an aggregate of sixteen hours in any one calendar year, but not less than one hour at any one time which shall be included in the allowance of sick leave at full pay under this Article for the purpose of securing preventive medical, dental, optical or other like treatment or examination for the employee and for the members of the employees immediate family, as defined in Article 7.4.
Preventive Medicine. This includes medical check-ups, in accordance with the age of the Insured, prescribed by a physician from the Insurer’s Services Catalogue, using the means and techniques covered by the Policy guarantee. - Rehabilitación y fisioterapia, previa prescrip- ción de un facultativo del Cuadro Médico de la Aseguradora. Quedan excluidos los tratamientos de fisiotera- pia y rehabilitación cuando haya conseguido la recuperación funcional, o el máximo posible de ésta, o cuando se convierta en terapia de man- tenimiento, así como la rehabilitación neuropsi- cológica o estimulación cognitiva. - Traumatología y cirugía ortopédica. Cirugía ar- troscópica. Queda expresamente excluida la infil- tración de plasma rico en plaquetas o factores de crecimiento.
Preventive Medicine. Full-time employees will be allowed personal leave without loss of pay or sick leave credits for regular check-ups:
a) By a doctor, dentist, chiropractor or optometrist not to exceed twelve (12) hours per year.
b) During the term of a pregnancy the employee shall be allowed up to fourteen (14) hours in addition to those specified above, for prenatal preventive medical care.
c) Upon request of the Employer, employees may be required to show proof of the above care. Part-time employees (Category 14.04 a)(i) Part-time Employees) will be allowed personal leave without loss of pay or sick leave credits for regular check-ups:
a) By a doctor, dentist, chiropractor or optometrist not to exceed four (4) hours per year.
b) Upon request of the Employer, employees may be required to show proof of the above care.
Preventive Medicine. Employees shall be allowed personal leave without loss of pay for regular checkups by a doctor, dentist, chiropractor or optometrist not to exceed eighteen (18) hours per year for full-time employees and not to exceed five (5) hours per year for part-time employees. Upon request of the Employer, employees may be required to show proof of the above care. The cost for such proof shall be borne by the Employer. Entitlement for part-time employees is based on calendar year of service. Under exceptional circumstances, as determined by the Chief Executive Officer or designate, an employee may be granted additional hours. The lack of approval of any additional hours shall not be subject to Grievance and/or Arbitration.
Preventive Medicine. 1. Each school year, the Board will provide flu shots to all Employees. Participation by the Employees in this program shall be optional.
Preventive Medicine. The Board will reimburse Teachers for the hepatitis B vaccine series (from the Will County Health Department). Participation by Teachers in this program shall be optional. Teachers requesting hepatitis B vaccine shots must complete the required series of shots after which the Board will pay for the cost.

The specialties listed below incorporate pro- grammes that include consultation with the specialist and the diagnostic tests indicated by way of example, provided the practitioner con- xxxxxx them necessary (in any case, the consul- tations and diagnostic tests corresponding to the different programmes will be performed by practitioners and healthcare facilities in the Insurer’s Directory).
Preventive Medicine. This includes programmes in Paediatrics, Gy- naecology, Cardiology, Urology and the Digestive System, in accordance with generally accepted recommendations, as per Xxxxx XXX to these Gen- eral Terms and Conditions.
