Probationary Employees and On-Call Pool Employees. Probationary, non-permanent employees and on-call pool employees shall continue to be governed in all respects by the Code of Miami-Dade County, Florida, Personnel Rules, Pay Plan, and other regulations in effect prior to the execution of this Agreement; and there shall be no change in any of the wages, benefits, hours or terms and conditions of employment of such employees except as a result of this Agreement. Within the meaning of the above paragraph, the following provisions only shall not apply to probationary employees: Article IX, Sections 1, 2(D), 3, 4 and 5 and Article XV, Section 6(E). Only the following provisions apply to on-call pool employees: Articles I; II; III; IV, Sections 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8; V; VI; XI,

  • Probationary Employees Employees with permanent status will not be separated from state service through a layoff action without first being offered positions they have the skills and abilities to perform within their current job classification within the layoff unit currently held by probationary employees. Probationary employees will be separated from employment before permanent employees.

  • Probationary Employee The term "probationary employee" as used in this Agreement refers to a full-time bargaining unit employee who has received a probationary appointment and is serving a period of probation.

  • On-Call Employees The Employer may assign work to on-call employees prior to assigning overtime.

  • Probationary Employment 4.2.1(a) An employer may initially engage a full-time or part-time employee for a period of probationary employment for the purpose of determining the employee's suitability for ongoing employment. The employee must be advised in advance that the employment is probationary and of the duration of the probation which can be up to but not exceed three months.

  • School Year Employees All hourly employees compensated under “Hourly Schedule A” and regularly employed for the hours in that position considered full time by the Employer for the school year.
