UNION-MANAGEMENT COOPERATION. Section 19.01 The Union agrees to uphold the rules and regula­ tions of the Employer in regard to punctual and steady atten­ dance, proper and sufficient notification in case of necessary absence, conduct on the job, and all other reasonable rules and regulations established by the Employer. Section 19.02 The Union agrees to cooperate with the Em­ ployer in maintaining and improving safe working conditions and practices, in improving the cleanliness and good housekeeping of the store, and in caring for equipment and machinery. Section 19.03 The Union recognizes the need for improved methods and out-put in the interest of the employees and the business and agrees to cooperate with the Employer in the installa­ tion of such methods, in suggesting improved methods, and in the education of its members in the necessity for such changes and improvements. Section 19.04 The Union recognizes the need for conservation and the elimination of waste and agrees to cooperate with the Employer in suggesting and practicing methods in the interest of conservation and waste elimination. Section 19.05 The Union agrees to cooperate in correcting inefficiencies of members which might otherwise necessitate discharge. Section 19.06 In the interest of promoting cooperative rela­ tions, the store manager will introduce each new employee in his store to the Union store xxxxxxx within forty-eight (48) hours after the new employee reports to work. A t this meeting, which shall take place during working hours, the store xxxxxxx shall give the new employee a copy of the contract and shall explain its operation. This store xxxxxxx may answer any questions the new employee asks him, may request the new employee to join the Union and may make arrangements for the new employee to become a member.‌
UNION-MANAGEMENT COOPERATION. Section 1. The Union and the University agree that in the interest of efficient management and harmonious employee relations, it is desirable that periodic meetings be held between representatives of the employees and management. Such meetings are to be referred to as "Union-Management Conferences." Problems of mutual concern, including conditions tending to cause misunderstandings, shall be considered and recommendations made to the University, the Union, or both parties. Such meetings shall be exclusive of the grievance procedure provided for by Article 24 (Grievance Procedure). Grievances shall not be considered at such meetings, nor shall proposals to alter the terms of this Agreement be advanced or considered except by mutual agreement. Section 2. At least ten (10) days prior to each meeting, the University and the Union will identify the subjects proposed to be discussed at the forthcoming meeting. Notice will also be given as to the names of those planning to attend, not to exceed five (5) members for the Union and five (5) for the University. The Union President will notify the Assistant Vice President of Human Resources or a designated Human Resources representative of the names of Union Representatives. Section 3. The time, date, and place of the meeting shall be mutually agreed upon by the parties. The meetings shall be scheduled during working hours and shall be with pay. Bargaining unit members, up to a maximum of three (3), will be paid up to two (2) hours each per meeting. Meetings will normally be held every other month, unless Section 4. A representative of the University shall keep minutes of each conference and distribute copies of the minutes to all persons who were present. Section 5. The University and the Union shall endeavor to carry out mutual agreements arising out of the Union-Management Conferences within a reasonable period of time.
UNION-MANAGEMENT COOPERATION. It is recognized by the Company and the Union that they have a common and sympathetic interest in creating the most harmonious relations within the Company and in the correction of conditions making for grievances and misunderstandings. It is through close cooperation on the part of Management and the Union that these objectives will be obtained and every effort should be made by Job Stewards and Supervisors to accomplish these ends. Decisions or settlements made by Supervisors and Job Stewards to settle differences will not be considered as binding precedents.

The Union and the Hospital agree that they will not, singly, or collectively, coerce, intimidate, or otherwise force any employee to join or not join the Union. Section 2. The Union agrees to cooperate with the Hospital in enforcing strict observance of all terms, provisions, and agreements herein contained. Section 3. The Hospital and the Union herein agree to establish a labor/management committee in order to receive and consider constructive suggestions submitted by the Union membership or management in an attempt to achieve full efficiency and safe, quality patient care. The Committee shall consist of three management members and three Union Officers/Executive Board Members, provided they are also a covered employee under this Agreement. The Chief Nursing Officer shall appoint management members and the Union President shall appoint Union Officers/Executive Board Members to serve on the committee. The Committee shall meet as needed if requested by either party at a time and place agreed to by the parties.

UNION-MANAGEMENT COOPERATION. Section 11.1. The Company recognizes the right of the Union to designate two (2) shop stewards from the Company's seniority list. Section 11.2. During new hire orientation the Company will provide 10 minutes for the Union representative to discuss the positive working relationship between the Company and the Union, explain the collective bargaining agreement, and sign up new employees for union membership. The Union agrees that it will not disparage the Company, its products, or company representatives during such presentations. Both parties agree to treat each other with mutual respect. Section 11.3. After providing forty-eight (48) hours’ notice, an authorized representative of the Union shall be permitted to visit the employees at the Company at all reasonable hours to investigate any matter covered by this agreement but they shall in no way interfere with the progress of work. The Company agrees to make available to the Union, upon request, meeting facilities (to the extent such facilities exist) within nonworking areas of the plant to accommodate individual meetings between employees and the Union. Section 11.4. The Company shall provide and maintain one (1) enclosed bulletin board at the facility for the exclusive use of the local Union. Any Union postings may only be posted on the bulletin board provided for that purpose. The union agrees that no postings will Section 11.5. A safety committee will be maintained by the Company. All meeting notes of safety committee meetings will be forwarded to the safety department. Section 11.6. The Company agrees to furnish employees safety tools and equipment specifically required by the Company. Employees may be charged for replacement of items that are lost or damaged. The Company agrees to pay for the annual fee of any license maintained by employee(s) designated by the Company and required by the Company. Section 11.7. UNION-MANAGEMENT COOPERATION. The Union recognizes that in consideration of the commitments herein made by the City, there is an obligation upon every bargaining unit member to give honest, efficient, and economical service in the performance of his duties. The Union agrees that it will not directly or indirectly oppose or interfere with the legitimate and reasonable efforts of the City to maintain and improve the skill, ability, and production of the work force and to reduce waste spoilage or materials.
