Probationary Full Time Employees. Any person hired to a full-time position in any of the departments and classifications listed in Article II above shall be a probationary employee of the City for a period of ninety (90) working days from his/her date of hire. While in his/her probationary period, such employee may be discharged with or without cause. Upon successful completion of his/her probationary period, such employee shall be covered under this Agreement as a member of the bargaining unit represented by the Union, and the City shall notify the business agent of the Union of each such new employee.

  • Full-Time Employees A full-time employee is one engaged as such and whose ordinary hours of work average 38 hours per week. The employee’s ordinary hours of work will not exceed an average of 38 hours per week over a 4 week period. Although the actual hours of work may vary from week to week, with some weeks greater than 38 hours and other weeks less, the employee will not work in excess of 152 ordinary hours in any four week period.

  • Full-Time Employment (a) A full-time Employee is an Employee who is engaged to work an average of 36 ordinary hours per week.
