Professional Renewal Program. 1. Each year a group of Laboratory School teachers will form to participate in a professional renewal program. Mandatory participation with the group begins in a teacher’s 11th year of employment with the Schools. This group comprises all teachers, across the Schools, entering their 11th, 16th, 21st, and so on (every five years), year at the Schools. The Director or his designee will administer the program. Upon a teacher’s request, the year in which the teacher participates in the program may be adjusted at the discretion of the Director to take into account leaves of absence, illness, or significant personal obligations that would preclude successful participation during the designated year.
Professional Renewal Program. 6.22.1 BCE is committed to the professional development and wellbeing of Principals and recognises the benefits of self directed professional development and wellbeing activities hereinafter called “Professional Renewal Leave”. Principals may access professional renewal leave in accordance with the Brisbane Catholic Education Professional Renewal Leave Procedures. Proposed variations to these administrative procedures will be subject to appropriate consultation with Principals.

  • Professional Development Program (a) The parties agree to continue a Professional Development Program for the maintenance and development of the faculty members' professional competence and effectiveness. It is agreed that maintenance of currency of subject knowledge, the improvement of performance of faculty duties, and the maintenance and improvement of professional competence, including instructional skills, are the primary professional development activities of faculty members.

  • Professional Development Reimbursement Management will provide reimbursement for approved professional development expenses for Lieutenants and Sergeants. Funds may be used for the purpose of improving job performance, maintaining and increasing proficiency, preparing Lieutenants and Sergeants for greater responsibility, or increasing promotional opportunities. Management must approve of the specific professional development request in advance. Denial will require written notification to the requesting Lieutenant or Sergeant.

  • PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT AND EDUCATIONAL IMPROVEMENT A. The Board agrees to implement the following:

  • Contracted Services The Employer agrees that all work coming under the jurisdiction of this Union, in the certified area, performed by anyone, on behalf of, or at the instance of the Employer, directly or indirectly under contract or sub-contract, shall be performed by employees who are members of this Union or who shall become members in accordance with the terms and conditions as set out in this Agreement.

  • PROFESSIONAL IMPROVEMENT A. The parties’ support the principle of continuing training of teachers, participation by teachers in professional organizations in the areas of their specialization, leaves for work on advanced degrees or special studies, foreign travel and participation in community educational projects.

  • PROFESSIONAL COMPENSATION A. The basic salaries of teachers covered by this Agreement are set forth in Appendix A which is attached to and incorporated in this Agreement. Such salary schedule shall remain in effect during the designated periods.

  • Professional Development and Training 4.1 The purpose of professional development and training requirements for interpreters is to maintain the skill levels interpreters possess at the time they pass their interpreter certification examination, and to further enhance their skills and knowledge. Both the State and the Union encourage interpreters to complete training and continuing education activities.

  • Contract for Professional Services of Physicians Optometrists, and Registered Nurses In accordance with Senate Bill 799, Acts 2021, 87th Leg., R.S., if Texas Government Code, Section 2254.008(a)(2) is applicable to this Contract, Contractor affirms that it possesses the necessary occupational licenses and experience.

  • Building Commissioning Services The Owner may provide as a part of its testing services the Building Commissioning services involving the project’s HVAC and exhaust systems, temperature control systems, fire detection and alarm systems, emergency power and lighting system, fire suppression system, security locks and security locking control systems, food service equipment (if applicable), and laundry equipment (if applicable). In the event the Using Agency’s Program specifies additional commissioning services, the Owner shall procure such services as well. The Owner, through its Executive Administrator, may engage an independent Commissioning Authority. It is the intent of this Article that the Commissioning Authority enforce the requirements mentioned herein and certify that the systems and equipment listed all function properly prior to the initiation of each final inspection.
