Promotional Salary Advancement. When an officer or employee is promoted to a position in a higher classification from a position in a lower classification in the same occupational career ladder, he or she shall be reassigned to Step "A" in the appropriate salary rate range for the higher classification; provided however, that if the base salary step currently being paid such officer or employee is already equal to or higher than said Step "A," he or she will be placed in the lowest step in the appropriate salary rate range as will grant that officer or employee an increase of at least one (l) salary step (approximately 5%) over his or her current base salary step including all assignment pay, pay additives, and premiums in place at the time of promotion. Pay additives which the employee is currently receiving and for which the employee is eligible in the new classification shall not be included in determining the starting point.

Promotional Salary Advancement. When an employee is promoted to a position in a higher classification from a position in a lower classification in the bargaining unit, they shall be reassigned to the lowest step in the appropriate salary rate range for the higher classification that gives the employee a minimum increase of one (1) salary step (approximately five percent (5%)) over their current base salary step (plus any pay for performance bonus if said employee was at top step in their current classification) and exclusive of any pay additive or additives such as shift differential, assignment pay, special skill pay, or the like.
Promotional Salary Advancement. When an employee in a classification designated as Administrative Management (AM) is promoted to a higher classification from a position in a lower classification in the same occupational career ladder, they shall be reassigned to the beginning step in the appropriate monthly salary range for the higher classification; provided, however, that if the base salary currently being paid such employee is already equal to or higher than such beginning step, they shall be placed in the lowest step in the appropriate monthly salary rate range as will grant the employee a pay increase of at least five percent (5%) over their current base salary step exclusive of pay premiums such as bilingual pay, special skills, or the like.

  • Salary Advancement Assigned salary ranges normally contain 5 steps. Employees move through these steps on the basis of performance in the position hired/promoted into. Regular, full-time employees shall be eligible for salary step advancement consideration, as follows:

  • Salary Step Advancement No period of unpaid leave shall be counted toward time served for purposes of salary step advancement. Completion of at least 75% of the assigned work year for the employee in a paid status is a prerequisite to salary advancement.

  • Salary Schedule Advancement The base salaries in each cluster within a step may be increased through COLA, turnover savings, increments, and additional educational attainment. Once placed in a cluster within a step, faculty do not move from cluster to cluster except as described in B.3.B below.

  • Career Advancement A) In order to attain Professional Teacher Status, the Educator should achieve ratings of proficient or exemplary on each Performance Standard and overall. A principal considering making an employment decision that would lead to PTS for any Educator who has not been rated proficient or exemplary on each performance standard and overall on the most recent evaluation shall confer with the superintendent by May 1. The principal’s decision is subject to review and approval by the superintendent.

  • Step Advancement Each faculty member will be granted one (1) increment on the salary schedule each year up to the maximum allowed. To qualify for advancement one (1) step on the salary schedule, employees must have been employed in a paid status or on any form of medical leave (FMLA, CFRA, etc.), or on military leave seventy-five percent (75%) or more of the school days in a school year.

  • Salary and Fringe Benefits The employee shall be paid a salary which is the pro- rata share of the salary which the employee would have earned had he or she not elected to exercise the option of reduced workload. The employee shall retain all other rights and benefits enjoyed by full-time members of the unit.

  • Salary on Promotion (a) An employee shall be given no less than an increase to the next higher rate in the new salary range effective on the date of promotion. If an employee is demoted or removed during trial service as a result of a promotion, his/her salary shall be reduced to the former step, and the previous salary eligibility date shall be restored. If the employee’s salary eligibility date occurs during the promotional trial service period, upon reinstatement to the previous class, the salary eligibility date prior to promotion will be recognized.

  • Reimbursement Option Provided that the Recipient satisfies the terms and conditions of this Agreement, the Recipient may elect to receive Fund proceeds for land acquisition directly from the OPWC after Closing. After Closing, which Closing shall not occur until the Recipient's submission of the Request to Proceed and the Recipient's receipt of the Notice to Proceed, the Recipient may submit a Disbursement Request to the OPWC for reimbursement of acquisition and other eligible costs. The Recipient shall attach to the Disbursement Request a copy of: (i) the executed and recorded deed, or such other instrument conveying the interest approved by the Director, with respect to the Land acquired by the Recipient, (ii) a copy of the recorded Deed Restrictions, (iii) a copy of the executed settlement statement, (iv) certification, or other documentation acceptable to the Director from the Title Agent that the Recipient has marketable title in and to the Land, and (v) such other documentation required by the OPWC. After receipt of such documentation, and subject to Recipient's compliance with the terms and conditions of this Agreement, the OPWC shall disburse Funds payable under this Agreement.

  • Annual Salary Executive's compensation shall consist of an annual base salary (the "Annual Salary") of one hundred fifty thousand dollars ($150,000), before all customary payroll deductions. The Annual Salary shall be reviewed, and shall be subject to change, by the Board of Directors of Employer (or the Compensation Committee thereof) at least annually while Executive is employed hereunder.
