Fire Management Group B Classes. The following regulations shall govern salary advancement within rate ranges for employees employed in Fire Management Group B classes (Fire Battalion Chief and Fire Communications Manager): 1. For any employee in a Fire Management Group B classification covered by this Agreement who has been initially appointed to a step lower than Step AE,@ advancement to the next higher step (Step AB@ from Step AA@ or Step AC@ from Step AB,@ etc.) may be granted only for continued satisfactory and efficient service by said employee in the effective performance of the duties of his or her position. The effective date of such step increase, if granted, shall be the first day of the month following the completion of one year of service at the step from which said employee is being advanced. Such merit advancement shall require the following: a. There shall be on file in the Office of the Executive Director of Personnel Services a copy of each periodic efficiency or performance report required to be made on the employee by the Civil Service Rules and Regulations and/or the City Manager during the period of service time of such employee subsequent to his or her last salary advancement. b. The Fire Chief, at least twenty (20) calendar days prior to the anticipated completion of such employee=s required length of service, shall file with the City Manager a statement recommending the granting or denial of the merit increase and supporting such a recommendation with specific reasons therefore. The employee shall be notified by the Fire Chief as to such recommendations and shall be informed of the reasons. c. No advancement in salary above Step AA@ shall become effective until approved by the City Manager, except when placement on a salary step above Step AA@ results from promotion under the provisions of Section 4.8 of this Agreement. 2. When any such employee in a Fire Management Group B classification has not been approved for advancement to the next higher salary step, he or she may be reconsidered for such advancement after the completion of three (3) months of additional service and shall be reconsidered for advancement to the next higher step above his or her then current step after the completion of six (6) months of additional service. 3. Any employee in a Fire Management Group B classification who is being paid at any salary step above AA@ may be reduced to the next lower step in the appropriate salary rate range upon the recommendation of the Fire Chief and the approva...
Fire Management Group B Classes. When an employee in a Fire Management Group B class is promoted to a position in a higher classification from a position in a lower classification in the same occupational career ladder, he or she shall be reassigned to the lowest step in the appropriate salary rate range for the higher classification; provided, however, that if the base salary step currently being paid such employee is already equal to or higher than this step, he or she shall be placed in the lowest step in the appropriate salary rate range as will grant that employee an increase of at least five percent (5%) over his or her current base salary step exclusive of any pay additive or additives such assignment pay, special skill pay or the like.
Fire Management Group B Classes. When an employee in a Fire Management Group B class is demoted to a position in a lower classification, his or her salary rate shall be fixed in the appropriate salary rate range for the lower classification accordance with the following provisions: 1. The salary rate shall be reduced by at least one (1) step [approximately five percent (5%)]. 2. The new salary rate must be within the appropriate salary rate range. 3. The new salary rate shall not be higher than the salary step to which the employee would have been entitled had his or her service time in the higher classification been spent in the lower classification. 4. A promotional employee who is rejected during the probationary period from a Fire Management Group B class shall be returned to the classification in which he or she holds regular status and at his or her former salary step, unless the reasons for failure to complete probation would also be cause for dismissal from City service.

  • Account Management 15.1 The Contractor is required to provide a dedicated Strategic Account Manager who will be the main point of contact for the Authority. The Strategic Account Manager will:  Attend quarterly, or as otherwise agreed, review meetings with the Authority, in person at the Authority’s premises or other locations as determined by the Authority  Attend regular catch-up meetings with the Authority, in person or by telephone/videoconference  Resolve any on-going operational issues which have not been resolved by the Contractor or Account Manager(s) and therefore require escalation  Ensure that the costs involved in delivering the Framework are as low as possible, whilst always meeting the required standards of service and quality. 15.2 The Contractor is also required to provide a dedicated Account Manager for every Framework Public Body using the Framework, if required by the Framework Public Body. The service to be provided will be agreed with each Framework Public Body and may include:  regular review meetings, which may be in person at the Framework Public Bodies’ premises, by video-conference, webinar or telephone  Regular catch-up meetings/telephone calls to discuss current and on-going issues  Work with the Framework Public Bodies Contract Manager to resolve any on-going operational issues  Work with the Framework Public Body ’s Contract Manager to pro-actively introduce initiatives to:  Create efficiencies in processes  Improve the environmental performance of the contract. 15.3 It is expected that end users will contact the Contractor in the first instance to resolve any operational issues. The Account Manager will act as a point of escalation to be contacted either by end users or by the Framework Public Body’s Contract Manager should there be issues that the Contractor needs to resolve. 15.4 Further details of the roles and responsibilities of the Contractor, Authority and Framework Public Bodies are provided in Schedule 4 – Management Arrangements

  • Investment Management If and to the extent requested by the Advisor, the Sub-Advisor shall, subject to the supervision of the Advisor, manage all or a portion of the investments of the Portfolio in accordance with the investment objective, policies and limitations provided in the Portfolio's Prospectus or other governing instruments, as amended from time to time, the Investment Company Act of 1940 (the "1940 Act") and rules thereunder, as amended from time to time, and such other limitations as the Trust or Advisor may impose with respect to the Portfolio by notice to the Sub-Advisor. With respect to the portion of the investments of the Portfolio under its management, the Sub-Advisor is authorized to make investment decisions on behalf of the Portfolio with regard to any stock, bond, other security or investment instrument, and to place orders for the purchase and sale of such securities through such broker-dealers as the Sub-Advisor may select. The Sub-Advisor may also be authorized, but only to the extent such duties are delegated in writing by the Advisor, to provide additional investment management services to the Portfolio, including but not limited to services such as managing foreign currency investments, purchasing and selling or writing futures and options contracts, borrowing money or lending securities on behalf of the Portfolio. All investment management and any other activities of the Sub-Advisor shall at all times be subject to the control and direction of the Advisor and the Trust's Board of Trustees.

  • SITE MANAGEMENT We reserve the right, but not the obligation, to: (1) monitor the Site for violations of these Terms of Use; (2) take appropriate legal action against anyone who, in our sole discretion, violates the law or these Terms of Use, including without limitation, reporting such user to law enforcement authorities; (3) in our sole discretion and without limitation, refuse, restrict access to, limit the availability of, or disable (to the extent technologically feasible) any of your Contributions or any portion thereof; (4) in our sole discretion and without limitation, notice, or liability, to remove from the Site or otherwise disable all files and content that are excessive in size or are in any way burdensome to our systems; and (5) otherwise manage the Site in a manner designed to protect our rights and property and to facilitate the proper functioning of the Site.

  • Utilization Management Contractor shall maintain a utilization management program that complies with applicable laws, rules and regulations, including Health and Safety Code § 1367.01 and other requirements established by the applicable State Regulators responsible for oversight of Contractor.

  • Traffic Management 9.2.1 During the Operating Period, Developer shall be responsible for the general management of traffic on the Project. Developer shall manage traffic so as to preserve and protect safety of traffic on the Project and Related Transportation Facilities and, to the maximum extent practicable, to avoid disruption, interruption or other adverse effects on traffic flow, throughput or level of service on the Project and Related Transportation Facilities. Developer shall conduct traffic management in accordance with all applicable Technical Provisions, Technical Documents, Laws and Governmental Approvals, and in accordance with the Traffic Management Plan. 9.2.2 Developer shall prepare and submit to TxDOT and the Independent Engineer for TxDOT approval a Traffic Management Plan for managing traffic on the Project and Related Transportation Facilities after the commencement of traffic operations on any portion of the Project, addressing (a) orderly and safe movement and diversion of traffic on Related Transportation Facilities during Project construction, (b) orderly and safe movement of traffic on the Project and (c) orderly and safe diversion of traffic on the Project and Related Transportation Facilities necessary in connection with field maintenance and repair work or Renewal Work or in response to Incidents, Emergencies and lane closures. Developer shall prepare the Traffic Management Plan according to the schedule set forth in the Technical Provisions. The Traffic Management Plan shall comply with the Technical Provisions and Technical Documents concerning traffic management and traffic operations. Developer shall carry out all traffic management during the Term in accordance with the approved Traffic Management Plan. 9.2.3 Developer shall implement the Traffic Management Plan to promote safe and efficient operation of the Project and Related Transportation Facilities at all times during the course of any construction or operation of the Project and during the Utility Adjustment Work. 9.2.4 TxDOT shall have at all times, without obligation or liability to Developer, the right 9.2.4.1 Issue Directive Letters to Developer regarding traffic management 9.2.4.2 Provide on the Project, via message signs or other means consistent with Good Industry Practice, non-Discriminatory traveler and driver information, and other public information (e.g. amber alerts), provided that the means to disseminate such information does not materially interfere with the functioning of the ETCS.

  • Union Management Relations Any changes deemed necessary in this Agreement may be made by mutual agreement of the parties at any time during the life of this Agreement.

  • MANAGEMENT GRIEVANCES 14.01 It is understood that the Management may bring forward at any meeting held with the Union Representative any complaint with respect to the conduct of the Union, or Stewards, and that if such complaint by Management is not settled to the mutual satisfaction of the conferring Parties, it may be treated as a grievance and referred to arbitration in the same way as the grievance of any employee.

  • Classroom Management The certificated classroom teacher demonstrates in his/her performance a competent level of knowledge and skill in organizing the physical and human elements in the educational setting.

  • Virus Management DST shall maintain a malware protection program designed to deter malware infections, detect the presence of malware within DST environment.

  • Care Management The Contractor’s protocol for referring members to care management shall be reviewed by OMPP and shall be based on identification through the health needs screening or when the claims history suggests need for intervention. In addition to population-based disease management educational materials and reminders, these members should receive more intensive services. Members with newly diagnosed conditions, increasing health services or emergency services utilization, evidence of pharmacy non-compliance for chronic conditions and identification of special health care needs should be strongly considered for case management. Care management services include direct consumer contacts in order to assist members with scheduling, location of specialists and specialty services, transportation needs, 24-Hour Nurse Line, general preventive (e.g. mammography) and disease specific reminders (e.g. Xxx X0X), pharmacy refill reminders, tobacco cessation and education regarding use of primary care and emergency services. The Contractor shall make every effort to contact members in care management telephonically. Materials should also be delivered through postal and electronic direct-to-consumer contacts, as well as web-based education materials inclusive of clinical practice guidelines. Materials shall be developed at the fifth grade reading level. All members with the conditions of interest shall receive materials no less than quarterly. The Contractor shall document the number of persons with conditions of interest, outbound telephone calls, telephone contacts, category of intervention, intervention delivered, mailings and website hits. Care management shall be coordinated with the Right Choices Program for members qualifying for the Right Choices Program. However, the Right Choices Program is not a replacement for care management.
