Skill Pay. All employees in the classification listed in Appendix C, who meet the requirements for receipt of skill pay, shall receive additional compensation at the designated rates.

Skill Pay. The following provisions exist for added payment to employees who possess special skills not required of their classification specifications, provided that said special skills are utilized by the employee in the performance of his/her job: A. Professional Engineer or Architect State License Civil Engineer Assistants, Civil Engineer Associates, Plan Check Engineers, Architectural Associates, Associate Project Managers, and Urban Designers shall receive an additional bi-weekly amount of $76.15 above their salary rate if they are licensed by the State of California as a Professional Engineer or Registered Architect and use that expertise as a part of their regularly assigned duties. Such registration must be maintained by the employees and supplemented by regular, at least annual, courses in the appropriate discipline, or the skill pay will cease as of July 1st of the next fiscal year. Courses that enable the employee to meet this requirement must be approved by the employee’s supervisor in advance. Said courses are subject to the tuition reimbursement or the professional development section of this MOU. Additional positions may be determined to qualify for this skill pay during the term of the MOU. B. Bilingual Skill Pay Qualified employees who meet the following criteria shall receive a bilingual skill pay of a bi-weekly amount of $23.08: (1) The employee must be assigned to speak or translate a language in addition to English. This may include specialized communication skills such as sign language; (2) An employee must regularly utilize such skills during the course of their duties or upon request of City management; and (3) To become qualified, an employee must be certified as qualified through an examination administered by the Human Resources Department. C. Professional Planning Registration Principal Planners, Senior Planners, Planners, Senior Transportation Planners, Principal Transportation Planners, Associate Planners, Transportation Planning Associates, Assistant Planners, and Special Projects Managers shall receive an additional bi-weekly amount of $23.08 above their salary rate after they receive an American Institute of Certified Planners certificate. Such certification must be maintained by the employees and supplemented by regular, at least annual, courses in the planning field of study, or the skill pay will cease as of July 1st of the next fiscal year.   • On-Call Pay 1. When a regular, limited-term or probationary employee is assigned on- call duty by the County, the employee shall, whenever practicable, be informed in writing at least five (5) days in advance of the dates and inclusive hours of such assignment; the employee shall be compensated at one-fourth (1/4) of his or her basic hourly rate for the entire period of such assignment. 2. On-call duty requires the employee so assigned to: (1) be reachable by telephone or other communications device; (2) be able to report to work in a reasonable time; and (3) to refrain from activities which might impair his or her ability to perform assigned duties. 3. Employees paid on a sixteen (16) hour shift basis are exempt from these provisions. 4. On-call pay shall not apply to extra help employees unless expressly directed in writing to be on-call.

  • Travel Pay Any employee required by the Employer to travel to a place of work other than his/her regular official duty station shall be reimbursed for travel costs, if eligible, in accordance with University policy.

  • Working Time 6.1 The standard working week for full time employees is 37 hours (36 in London). This may be calculated over a period other than a week in accordance with the provisions of Part 3. 6.2 Employees who are required to work non-standard patterns of work shall be compensated in accordance with the provisions of Part 3 Para 2. 6.3 Variations to the established working week or patterns of work will be reasonable and subject to adequate notice. 6.4 Working arrangements will comply with relevant Health and Safety legislation, including the European working time directive and its associated UK legislation.

  • Training Pay City shall pay one and one-half times regular salary rate for training required by the Police and Peace Officers Licensing Law which is taken outside of regular duty hours (approximately 48 hours every three years). The Chief will establish the type and amount of training required.

  • Terminal Pay Any employee at normal retirement or his/her beneficiary if service is terminated by death, shall be provided terminal pay. Such terminal pay shall not exceed an amount determined as follows: 1. During the first three (3) years of service: a. The affected employee’s daily rate of pay on July 1, 1994, multiplied by 35 percent multiplied by the number of unused sick leave days held on July 1, 1994. b. The affected employee’s daily rate of pay at the time sick leave is earned times 35 percent times the number of days of accumulated sick leave earned after July 1, 1994. 2. During the fourth (4th) through sixth (6th) years of service: a. The affected employee’s daily rate of pay on July 1, 1994, multiplied by 40 percent multiplied by the number of unused sick leave days held on July 1, 1994. b. The affected employee’s daily rate of pay at the time sick leave is earned times 40 percent times the number of days of accumulated sick leave earned after July 1, 1994. 3. During the seventh (7th) through ninth (9th) years of service: a. The affected employee’s daily rate of pay on July 1, 1994, multiplied by 45 percent multiplied by the number of unused sick leave days held on July 1, 1994. b. The affected employee’s daily rate of pay at the time sick leave is earned times 45 percent times the number of days of accumulated sick leave earned after July 1, 1994. 4. During the tenth (10th) through the twelfth (12th) year of service: a. The affected employee’s daily rate of pay on July 1, 1994, multiplied by 50 percent multiplied by the number of unused sick leave days held on July 1, 1994. b. The affected employee’s daily rate of pay at the time sick leave is earned times 50 percent times the number of days of accumulated sick leave earned after July 1, 1994. 5. During and after the thirteenth (13th) year of service: a. The affected employee’s daily rate of pay on July 1, 1994, multiplied by the number of unused sick leave days held on July 1, 1994. b. The affected employee’s daily rate of pay at the time sick leave is earned* multiplied by the number of days of accumulated sick leave earned. 6. No employee who meets the eligibility requirements listed above may receive any compensation for sick leave payments unless they sign and execute the Payment of Sick Leave Upon Retirement Agreement provided by the Superintendent. This Agreement requires the retiring Board employee to seek, accept, and cash the first retirement benefit check issued by the Florida Retirement System. The employee must qualify for “normal retirement” which under this policy shall mean retirement under plan A, B, C, D, E under the Florida Retirement System or any other plan established by the Legislature with either full or reduced benefits as provided by law. Normal retirement shall not be interpreted to include disability retirement. *Note: “At the time sick leave is earned” shall be interpreted to mean the value of sick leave at the end of each school year or at the time the affected employee retires, whichever comes first.

  • FARES AND TRAVELLING ALLOWANCE In lieu of the basic daily excess fares and travel pattern allowance prescribed by Clause 38.1.1 of the award, a payment per day shall be made for each day worked (including RDO’s). This payment shall in no way limit or be construed as a payment in substitution for any other entitlement arising under Clause 38 of the award. Payments shall be as follows: ⮚ 1/3/03 $22.50 per day ⮚ 1/3/04 $23.40 per day ⮚ 1/3/05 $24.55 per day The cost of Citylink tolls or similar will be reimbursed for those employees who are required by the company to use their own vehicle during working hours, but not for travel to and from work.

  • Bilingual Pay Where the Employer currently pays bilingual pay or bonuses, it shall continue to do so. The Employer retains discretion to initiate bilingual pay or bonuses. The minimum bilingual bonus or hourly equivalent is $25 per pay period. The Employer may not require an employee to use bilingual skills without paying the appropriate bonus or pay. This does not apply to employees where such skills are in the classification specification.

  • Weighing and Scaling Costs Purchaser agrees to pay for all weighing costs for logs delivered regardless if logs are purchased on a weight or scale basis. In addition, Purchaser agrees to pay for all scaling costs for logs delivered on a scale basis. Purchaser also agrees to pay for all costs associated with the transmission and reporting of scale or weight data.

  • Working Xxxxxxx An employee who is in charge of a crew not more than five men including himself, engaged in line clearance work. (In the application of Article X, the Company need not consider the application for promotion to this classification from any employee having less than one year of experience in the Climber classification.)

  • Counseling Services SUD therapy/counseling is a relationship between people that works in part because of clearly defined rights and responsibilities held by each person. As a client in the SUD counseling process, you have certain rights and responsibilities that are important for you to understand. There are also legal limitations to those rights that you should be aware of. I, as your SUD counselor, have corresponding responsibilities to you. These rights and responsibilities are described in the following sections. SUD therapy/counseling has both benefits and risks. Risks may include experiencing uncomfortable feelings, such as sadness, guilt, anxiety, anger, frustration, loneliness and helplessness, because the process of therapy often requires discussing the unpleasant aspects of your life. However, therapy has been shown to have benefits for individuals who undertake it. Therapy often leads to a significant reduction in feelings of distress, increased satisfaction in interpersonal relationships, greater personal awareness and insight, increased skills for managing stress and resolutions to specific problems. But, there are no guarantees about what will happen. Therapy requires a very active effort on your part. In order to be most successful, you will want to put into practice things we discuss outside of sessions. The first 2-3 sessions will involve a comprehensive evaluation of your needs. By the end of the evaluation, I will be able to offer you some initial impressions of what our work might include. At that point, we will discuss your treatment goals and create an initial treatment plan. You should evaluate this information and make your own assessment about whether you feel comfortable working with me. If you have questions about my procedures, we should discuss them whenever they arise. If your doubts persist, I will be happy to help you set up a meeting with another SUD professional for a second opinion. PROFESSIONAL FEES The standard fee for a 50-minute individual session is $125.00 and the standard fee for a 90 minute couples session is $175.00 You are responsible for paying the full amount at the time of your session, unless prior arrangements have been made. Payment must be made by cash, or credit card. If you refuse to pay your debt, I reserve the right to use an attorney or collection agency to secure payment. APPOINTMENTS Appointments will ordinarily be 45-60 minutes in duration, once per week at a time we agree on, although some sessions may be more, or less frequent as needed. The time scheduled for your appointment is assigned to you and you alone. If you need to cancel or reschedule a session, I ask that you provide me with 24-hours notice. If you miss a session without canceling, or cancel with less than 24-hour notice, my policy is to collect the full session fee of $125.00/individual or $175.00/couples. It is important to note that insurance companies do not provide reimbursement for cancelled sessions; thus, you will be responsible for 100% of the full rate. If it is possible, I will try to find another time to reschedule the appointment. In addition, you are responsible for coming to your session on time; if you are late, your appointment will still need to end at the scheduled time. Finally, I have the right to terminate treatment after 2 missed appointments or habitual tardiness. Thank you for understanding. To schedule, cancel or change and appointment you may call, text or email me. You can expect a response before the end of the business day. INSURANCE I am not a participating provider for any insurance plan. If you would like, I will supply you with a receipt of payment for services, which you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. Please note that not all insurance companies reimburse for out-of-network providers. PROFESSIONAL RECORDS I am required to keep appropriate records of the SUD therapy/counseling services that I provide. Your records are maintained in a secured, encrypted, HIPAA compliant web-based system. I keep brief records noting that you were here, your reasons for seeking SUD therapy/counseling, the goals and progress we set for treatment, your diagnosis, topics we discussed, your medical, social, and treatment history, records I receive from other providers, copies of records I send to others, and your billing records. Except in unusual circumstances that involve danger to yourself, you have the right to a copy of your file. Because these are professional records, they may be misinterpreted and / or upsetting to untrained readers. For this reason, I recommend that you initially review them with me, or have them forwarded to another mental health professional to discuss the contents. You also have the right to request that a copy of your file be made available to any other health care provider at your written request.
