PURPOSES AND GOALS. 2.1 The Parties are entering into this Agreement to perform the following: (a) Set forth their mutual intent to work towards the development of a single GSP for the Subbasin. (b) Authorize research and collection of the data required for the GSP according to a mutually agreeable timeline. (c) The Parties agree to utilize their best efforts in selecting and fully cooperating with the consultants gathering the information, preparing grant applications, and preparing the GSP. (d) The Parties agree that after they gather data and determine an appropriate governance structure, they will either (1) amend or replace this Agreement to reflect specifics required to finalize a GSP or (2) if a single GSP is not to occur, prepare and enter into a Coordination Agreement setting forth appropriate assumptions based on information gathered and developed as a result of this Agreement.

PURPOSES AND GOALS. The Parties desire to coordinate and share information concerning water resources management planning programs and projects and other information for grant funding and IRWMP implementation, and to improve and maintain overall communication among the Parties. It is anticipated that coordination and information sharing among the Parties will assist the agencies in achieving their respective missions and contribute to the overall well-being of the region. It is expected that all parties will cooperate and coordinate with one another in order to achieve the goals written above.
PURPOSES AND GOALS. The purposes and goals of this Agreement shall be to provide collectively to: A. Design, revise, modify, amend and recommend the enforcement of an Environmental Plan for each Party hereto which shall contain environmental and sanitation codes, non-point source pollution plans, public water supply protection plans, subdivision wastewater management plans, watershed restoration priorities, and any other plans requested by any Party for local application; B. Apply for grants to provide funding to assist with the operations of NEKES, development and enforcement of its programs, and coordination with Kansas Department of Health and Environment, hereinafter “KDHE”, and KDHE’s on-going regulations; C. Contract with any individual, organization, or agency for services necessary for the development, implementation, and enforcement of its programs; D. Adopt an annual budget for the operation of NEKES, which includes an appropriate fee schedule for services provided by NEKES reasonable and necessary to support the operations, including an allocation of funds from each Party; E. Protect public health and the environment from the adverse effects of water pollution, to include nonpoint source and surface water pollution; F. Assist each Party to identify and protect sources of high-quality water in adequate supplies for the reasonable needs of each Party; G. Protect public health from other nuisance or hazardous environmental problems; H. Identify, investigate, and implement environmental services which are technically sound and cost effective for the Parties; and, I. Promote the education of environmentally sound policies to the public.

PURPOSES AND GOALS. The UNIVERSITY and the JMSA will cooperate to promote successful undergraduate educational experiences for qualified JMSA students for the 2021-22 and 2022-23 academic years. The goals of this partnership are two-fold: 1. Enable JMSA students to be admitted as cohort students and enroll in the following UNIVERSITY courses: 2.   • Performance Goals A. The Trust and State Street have developed mutually acceptable performance goals dated March 1, 2011 , and as may be amended from time to time, regarding the manner in which they expect to deliver and receive the services under this Agreement (hereinafter referred to as “Service Level Agreement”). The parties agree that such Service Level Agreement reflects performance goals and any failure to perform in accordance with the provisions thereof shall not be considered a breach of contract that gives rise to contractual or other remedies. It is the intention of the parties that the sole remedy for failure to perform in accordance with the provisions of the Service Level Agreement, or any dispute relating to performance goals set forth in the Service Level Agreement, will be a meeting of the parties to resolve the failure pursuant to the consultation procedure described in Sections V. B. and V.C. below. Notwithstanding the foregoing, the parties hereby acknowledge that any party’s failure (or lack thereof) to meet the provisions of the Service Level Agreement, while not in and of itself a breach of contract giving rise to contractual or other remedies, may factor into the Trust’s reasonably determined belief regarding the standard of care exercised by State Street hereunder.

  • Performance Targets Threshold, target and maximum performance levels for each performance measure of the performance period are contained in Appendix B.

  • Criteria (1) Annual Evaluation Criteria. All performance evaluations shall be based upon assigned duties, and shall carefully consider the nature of the assignment in terms, where applicable, of: a. Teaching effectiveness, including effectiveness in presenting knowledge, information, and ideas by means or methods such as lecture, discussion, assignment and recitation, demonstration, laboratory exercise, practical experience, supervision of interns, theses, professional projects and/or dissertations, and direct consultation with students. The evaluation shall include consideration of effectiveness in imparting knowledge and skills, and effectiveness in stimulating students' critical thinking and/or creative abilities, the development or revision of curriculum and course structure, and adherence to accepted standards of professional behavior in meeting responsibilities to students. The evaluator may take into account class notes, syllabi, student exams and assignments, and any other materials relevant to the employee's teaching assignment. The teaching evaluation must take into account any relevant materials submitted by the employee, including the results of peer evaluations of teaching, and may not be based solely on student evaluations when this additional information has been made available to the evaluator. b. Contribution to the discovery of new knowledge, development of new educational techniques, and other forms of creative activity. Evidence of research and other creative activity shall include, but not be limited to, published books; articles and papers in professional journals; musical compositions, paintings, sculpture; works of performing art; papers presented at meetings of professional societies; funded grant activities; and research and creative accomplishments that have not yet resulted in publication, display, or performance. The evaluation shall include consideration of the employee's productivity, including the quality and quantity of the employee's research and other creative programs and contributions during the year, as well as recognition by the academic or professional community of what has been done. c. Public service that extends professional or discipline-related contributions to the community, the State, public schools, and/or the national and international community. This public service includes contributions to scholarly and professional organizations, governmental boards, agencies, and commissions that are beneficial to such groups and individuals. d. Participation in the governance processes of the University through significant service on committees, councils, and senates, beyond that associated with the expected responsibility to participate in the governance of the University through participation in regular departmental or college meetings. e. Other assigned University duties, such as attending University events, advising, counseling, and academic administration, or as described in a Position Description, if any, of the position held by the employee. Other assigned duties may include entrepreneurial activities that contribute to the further development of the University with an end result of creating a new venture. Evidence of entrepreneurial contributions shall include, but not be limited to, creation of self- supporting centers or institutes, development of multi- disciplinary research partnerships, and applications of research to implementations in society. To provide guidelines for the establishment, maintenance and use of employee evaluation files within the employee’s respective academic unit.

  • Performance Criteria The Performance Criteria are set forth in Exhibit A to this Agreement.

  • Program Goals CalHFA MAC envisions that these monies would be used to complement other federal or lender programs designed specifically to stabilize communities by providing assistance to homeowners who have suffered a financial hardship and as a result are no longer financially able to afford their first-lien mortgage loan payments or their Property Expenses when associated with a Federal Housing Administration (“FHA”) Home Equity Conversion Mortgages (“HECM”) loan, only.

  • Performance Factors (a) Each party will notify the other party of the existence of a Performance Factor, as soon as reasonably possible after the party becomes aware of the Performance Factor. The Notice will: describe the Performance Factor and its actual or anticipated impact; include a description of any action the party is undertaking, or plans to undertake, to remedy or mitigate the Performance Factor; indicate whether the party is requesting a meeting to discuss the Performance Factor; and address any other issue or matter the party wishes to raise with the other party. (b) The recipient party will provide a written acknowledgment of receipt of the Notice within 7 Days of the date on which the Notice was received (“Date of the Notice”). (c) Where a meeting has been requested under paragraph 7.2(a)(3), the parties agree to meet and discuss the Performance Factors within 14 Days of the Date of the Notice, in accordance with the provisions of section 7.3.
