Rates of Pay and Classification. The job classifications and rates of pay are set forth below. These job classifications and rates of pay shall remain in effect during the life of this Agreement. Such hire-in rate may be changed from time to time by the Company at its discretion, but in no event will it exceed $12.00 per hour, without written agreement with the Union. In the event that the Company raises the hire-in rate, all employees whose rates are lower than the newly established rate will have their rate raised to the newly established rate. In addition, the Company will notify the Unit President in writing of any change in the hire-in rate, the effective date of the hire-in rate, the affected employees and the impact of the increase on such employees. Each new hire is to receive a $.50 raise each six (6) months or 1040 hours paid, whichever occurs sooner, until he reaches the top rate for the job to which he is assigned (and the last increase to the top rate of his assigned job, whenever it occurs, will be the difference in the amount between the rate earned at the time of the increase and the top rate of his assigned job) for up to a 24-month period or 4160 hours paid, whichever occurs sooner. The Company may accelerate an employee's pay progression with documentation establishing skills and qualifications provided to the employee and the Unit President. An employee hired in during the term of this contract who successfully bids on a job other than his hire-in job before he has reached the top pay of such hire-in job will begin his trial period in the bid job at a rate proportionately above the bid-in rate as the successful bidder's actual rate at the time of his bid was above the base rate of the job he held at the time of his bid. Employees who voluntarily separate or terminate employment during the term of this Agreement at age 55 or older, and who qualify for pension benefits, will receive a severance bonus of $1,000, plus $100 for each year of service after age 55 up to a maximum of $2,000.

An adjusted anniversary date will be constructed from all paid hours during the nurse’s employment once permanent status has been attained.

Related to Rates of Pay and Classification

  • JOB CLASSIFICATIONS AND RATES OF PAY 7.01 Employees shall be classified and paid in accordance with Schedule "A" which is attached to this Agreement and forms a part of it.

  • CLASSIFICATIONS AND RATES OF PAY Subd. 1.

  • Rates of Pay Employees will be paid in accordance with the rates of pay negotiated by the parties of this agreement. The applicable rates of pay are recorded as Appendix A (Wage Grid) of this agreement.

  • Premium Rates of Pay (A) Overtime Overtime at the rate of one and one-half (1.5) times the appropriate stat holiday rate shall be paid to an employee for all hours of overtime worked on the paid holiday. (Reference Article 27.05 – Overtime Pay Calculation.)

  • New Classification Should a new position or new classification be created within the Bargaining Unit during the term of this Agreement, the Employer and the Union will decide the rate of pay. Nothing herein prevents the Employer from filling such positions and having Nurses working in such positions during such negotiations. The salary when determined will be retroactive to the date on which the successful candidate commenced work in that classification.

  • WAGE RATES AND CLASSIFICATIONS Classifications and the hourly wage rates applicable thereto are contained in the Appendices attached to and forming part of this Agreement.

  • RATES OF PAYMENT B3.1 Current Contract Rates. Included Timber that is removed by Purchaser and presented for Scaling in the product form stated in A2 shall be paid for at Current Contract Rates determined under this Section. “Current Contract Rates” shall be (a) Flat Rates and (b) Tentative Rates adjusted by the escalation procedures in B3.2. Flat Rates and Tentative Rates shall be those listed in A4, unless superseded by rates redetermined under B3.3 or established for Contract Term Extension. In addition, Re- quired Deposits shall be made as listed in A4, C5.32, and C6.816, or established under B3.3 or B8.23. In the event Termination Date is adjusted under B8.21 or B8.212, Current Contract Rates shall be contin- ued in the same manner as immediately prior to the ad- justment period. Notwithstanding B8.23, Current Contract Rates for timber cut and removed from Sale Area that remains un- scaled after Termination Date, as adjusted or extended, shall be Current Contract Rates in effect on Termination Date. “Current Contract Value” is the sum of the products of Current Contract Rates and estimated remaining un- scaled volumes by species of Included Timber meeting Utilization Standards.

  • COVERED CLASSIFICATIONS All employees shall be subject to post-Accident testing under this Agreement. All employees who perform Safety-Sensitive Functions, as defined in this Policy, shall be subject to reasonable suspicion testing.

  • WAGES AND CLASSIFICATIONS 14.01 Job classifications are set out in Schedule "A" of this Agreement. They shall not be changed or deleted, nor shall the jobs themselves be altered or amended without discussion with the Union.

  • New Classifications If a new classification is created within the bargaining unit, the Employer agrees to meet with the Union and negotiate a rate of pay for this new classification. If the parties cannot reach agreement, at the request of either party, the matter shall be submitted to the arbitration procedure in Article 26 of this Agreement.
