REASONS FOR USAGE. Sick leave may be used to cover an employee’s absence due to any of the following: (a) The diagnosis, care, or treatment of an existing health condition of, or preventative care for, of an employee. (b) The diagnosis, care, or treatment of an existing health condition of, or preventative care for, a qualified family member. (c) The employee is a victim of domestic violence, sexual assault, or stalking. (d) Any other leave of absence as allowed by law, including pregnancy and/or complications related to pregnancy. (e) Any additional reason that may be required by California labor code §246.5(a).

REASONS FOR USAGE. Sick leave may be granted to an employee, upon approval by the Employer, for the following reasons: (1) absence due to personal illness, pregnancy or injury; (2) exposure of an employee to a contagious disease which could be communicated to and jeopardize the health of other employees; (3) medical examination of the employee when such an examination cannot be scheduled during non-work hours; (4) bereavement leave for the employee’s immediate family; (5) illness or injury of a member of the employee’s immediate family where the employee’s presence is reasonably necessary; and (6) medical examination of a member of the employee’s immediate family where the employee’s presence is reasonably necessary and when such examination cannot be scheduled during non-work hours. When using sick leave for the illness of an immediate family member when the employee’s presence is reasonably necessary, the definition of immediate family shall be: parent, step-parent, person who stands in the place of a parent (in loco parentis), child, step-child, spouse, significant other (meaning one who stands in place of a spouse and who resides with the employee), sibling, step-sibling, grandparent, grandchild, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, mother-in-law, father-in-law, son-in- law, daughter-in-law. When an employee uses sick leave because of the illness or injury of a member of the employee’s immediate family, the Employer may investigate to confirm whether the employee’s presence is reasonably necessary for the health and welfare of the employee’s family member.

  • Reasons for Leave Family Care and Medical Leave may be granted for reason of the birth of a child of the employee, or the placement of a child with an employee in connection with the adoption or xxxxxx care of the child by the employee. If the leave is taken for any of these reasons, the leave must be concluded within twelve (12) months of the birth, the adoption, or the xxxxxx care placement of the child. In addition, leave may be granted because of the serious health condition of a child of the employee, the employee's own serious health condition, or the care of a parent or spouse who has a serious health condition.

  • Reasons for Termination Executive’s employment hereunder may or will be terminated during the Employment Period under the following circumstances:

  • Access to List of Holders (a) If the Trustee is not acting as Certificate Registrar, the Certificate Registrar will furnish or cause to be furnished to the Trustee, within fifteen days after receipt by the Certificate Registrar of a request by the Trustee in writing, a list, in such form as the Trustee may reasonably require, of the names and addresses of the Certificateholders of each Class as of the most recent Record Date. (b) If three or more Holders or Certificate Owners (hereinafter referred to as “Applicants”) apply in writing to the Certificate Registrar, and such application states that the Applicants desire to communicate with other Holders with respect to their rights under this Agreement or under the Certificates and is accompanied by a copy of the communication which such Applicants propose to transmit, then the Certificate Registrar shall, within five Business Days after the receipt of such application, afford such Applicants reasonable access during the normal business hours of the Certificate Registrar to the most recent list of Certificateholders held by the Certificate Registrar or shall, as an alternative, send, at the Applicants’ expense, the written communication proffered by the Applicants to all Certificateholders at their addresses as they appear in the Certificate Register. (c) Every Holder or Certificate Owner, if the Holder is a Clearing Agency, by receiving and holding a Certificate, agrees with the Depositor, the Master Servicer, the Securities Administrator, the Certificate Registrar and the Trustee that neither the Depositor, the Master Servicer, the Securities Administrator, the Certificate Registrar nor the Trustee shall be held accountable by reason of the disclosure of any such information as to the names and addresses of the Certificateholders hereunder, regardless of the source from which such information was derived.

  • No Layoff to Compensate for Overtime Employees shall not be required to layoff during regular hours to equalize any overtime worked.

  • Unavailability of Tenor of Benchmark Notwithstanding anything to the contrary herein or in any other Loan Document, at any time (including in connection with the implementation of a Benchmark Replacement), (i) if the then-current Benchmark is a term rate (including the Term SOFR Reference Rate) and either (A) any tenor for such Benchmark is not displayed on a screen or other information service that publishes such rate from time to time as selected by the Administrative Agent in its reasonable discretion or (B) the regulatory supervisor for the administrator of such Xxxxxxxxx has provided a public statement or publication of information announcing that any tenor for such Benchmark is not or will not be representative, then the Administrative Agent may modify the definition of “Interest Period” (or any similar or analogous definition) for any Benchmark settings at or after such time to remove such unavailable or non-representative tenor and (ii) if a tenor that was removed pursuant to clause (i) above either (A) is subsequently displayed on a screen or information service for a Benchmark (including a Benchmark Replacement) or (B) is not, or is no longer, subject to an announcement that it is not or will not be representative for a Benchmark (including a Benchmark Replacement), then the Administrative Agent may modify the definition of “Interest Period” (or any similar or analogous definition) for all Benchmark settings at or after such time to reinstate such previously removed tenor.

  • GROUNDS FOR DIVORCE This Agreement shall remain in effect only if the grounds for Divorce are due to the following: (check all that apply)

  • Offices for Payments, etc So long as any of the Securities remain outstanding, the Issuer will maintain in the Borough of Manhattan, The City of New York, the following for each series: an office or agency (a) where the Securities may be presented for payment, (b) where the Securities may be presented for registration of transfer and for exchange as in this Indenture or any supplemental indenture provided and (c) where notices and demands to or upon the Issuer in respect of the Securities or of this Indenture may be served. The Issuer will give to the Trustee written notice of the location of any such office or agency and of any change of location thereof. Unless otherwise specified in accordance with Section 2.03, the Issuer hereby initially designates the Corporate Trust Office of the Trustee, as the office to be maintained by it for each such purpose. In case the Issuer shall fail to so designate or maintain any such office or agency or shall fail to give such notice of the location or of any change in the location thereof, presentations and demands may be made and notices may be served at the Corporate Trust Office. The Issuer may from time to time designate one or more additional offices or agencies where the Securities of a series may be presented for payment, where the Securities of that series may be presented for exchange as provided in this Indenture and pursuant to Section 2.03 and where the Securities of that series may be presented for registration of transfer as provided in this Indenture, and the Issuer may from time to time rescind any such designation, as the Issuer may deem desirable or expedient; provided, however, that no such designation or rescission shall in any manner relieve the Issuer of its obligation to maintain the agencies provided for in this Section. The Issuer will give to the Trustee prompt written notice of any such designation or rescission thereof.

  • Access to List of Holders' Names and Addresses Each Holder and each Owner shall be deemed to have agreed not to hold the Depositor, the Property Trustee, the Delaware Trustee or the Administrative Trustees accountable by reason of the disclosure of its name and address, regardless of the source from which such information was derived.
