Recruitment Issues. Supervisors with recruitment or retention issues may bring these matters to LMAT for recommendation. LMAT shall develop criteria and guidelines for supervisors to use in presenting such issues to the Team. LMAT may make recommendations for such cases to the City Manager and to AFSCME for resolution of the individual situation, including but not limited to, recommendations relating to compensation for licenses and certifications that are not required in the job description for the specific position. Recommendations for compensation changes may include recommendations for a review process to verify the on-going rationale for such a change.
