Reduction in Assignment. 18.5.1 In cases where a reduction in assignment needs to occur due to program needs, budget constraints, low enrollment, or more contract faculty hires, the reduction shall occur first from among those part-time, temporary faculty members who have not yet qualified to be‌ placed on the reemployment priority list, and thereafter in reverse seniority order, with the least senior part-time, temporary faculty member reduced first.
Reduction in Assignment. In the event a participating teacher’s assignment is reduced from full-time to part-time during the school year, the teacher must continue participation at the same rate for the remainder of the school year.
Reduction in Assignment. In the event that a full-time employee’s position is reduced, but as a result of that reduction continues to qualify as a full-time employee as defined in Section 8.2.1, this employee is not entitled to displace any other employee regardless of seniority. In the event that a full-time employee’s position is reduced to part- time as defined in Section 8.2.2, this employee may accept this reduced position or, except as provided in Section 8.9, may elect to displace the least senior employee in this appropriate unit in accordance with the provisions of Section 8.4.

  • Work Assignments Section 1. The Company shall determine whether to staff a position or fill a vacancy and the method or combination of methods it shall use for such purposes. All vacancies within the Bargaining Unit shall be posted (manually or electronically) in locations where Bargaining Unit employees regularly work. The posting shall include the title, wage range, and sufficient information regarding requirements and duties to adequately describe the vacancy. The vacancy shall remain posted for seven (7) calendar days which shall be spread between two (2) workweeks.

  • ASSIGNMENT AND SUB-LETTING Tenant shall not assign this Agreement, or sub-let or grant any license to use the Premises or any part thereof without the prior written consent of Landlord. A consent by Landlord to one such assignment, sub-letting or license shall not be deemed to be a consent to any subsequent assignment, sub-letting or license. An assignment, sub-letting or license without the prior written consent of Landlord or an assignment or sub-letting by operation of law shall be absolutely null and void and shall, at Landlord's option, terminate this Agreement.

  • Shift Assignment Should the University elect to establish a shift on any other schedule than the regular day shift (Monday through Friday) or to assign employees to work on any such shift, the employee(s) with the most seniority in the classification affected or to be assigned on such shift shall have preference in moving to such shift. If an insufficient number of employees in the classification elect to move to such shift, then the employee(s) with the least seniority in the classification shall be assigned to such shift. If positions or shifts are reduced or eliminated or movement of personnel to other shifts is required, then the seniority of the affected employee will prevail in the selection of shift, provided the affected employee can do the required work. Such shift preference is only applicable within the employee's classification.

  • Subletting Assignment Check the appropriate box to allow or deny the tenant to sublet the dwelling unit. If a landlord is allowing the tenant to sublet, it is important to indicate the number of days the tenant must notify the landlord of the subtenant’s contact information. Section VIII.
