Referees. 22.6.4.1 In the case of any application for tenure or promotion, the Faculty Member shall provide a list of nine (9) external referees from which the CPTC shall choose three (3) names and solicit recommendations in accordance with Article 23.
22.6.4.2 Referees will be informed that a recommendation for promotion from Associate Professor to Professor requires that a Faculty Member's scholarly or professional achievements are of sufficient significance to be recognized nationally or internationally.
Referees. MH and the Minnesota Hockey Officials Association (“MHOA”) shall establish the officiating system and fee schedule used for Region and State Tournaments. The Host is responsible for paying referees per the established fee schedule. The Host is responsible for locating housing for officials, if necessary. Hosts shall not pay any housing or meal costs to any referee. For State Tournaments only - payment for referee’s housing shall be made according to a process established by the MHOA and MH Tournament Committee Chair.
Referees a) Normally, all referees shall be senior academics with the rank of Professor, Senior Teaching Professor, or equivalent, and at arm’s length from the candidate. At least one (1) of the referees shall be external.
b) The candidate shall provide the Xxxx with a list of at least three (3) possible referees by August 31. The Xxxx shall obtain letters of appraisal from at least one
(1) referee from this list of nominees.
c) In addition, the Xxxx shall secure letters of appraisal from at least one (1) referee knowledgeable in the candidate’s discipline but no more than the number of referees secured under Article 20.05 b).
d) The documentation provided to the PRC shall identify which referees were nominated by the candidate and by the Xxxx, and shall include a statement describing the qualifications of each referee.
e) When inviting prospective referees, the Xxxx shall include a copy of the criteria for promotion from Article 20.01 as well as Article 16 that outlines the way that Teaching, Service, and Other are defined for Teaching Faculty Members at UOIT.
f) All referees shall be provided with the documentation as set out in Article 20.08. All referees shall asses the candidate’s Teaching using the criteria as set out in Article 20.01 a) i) and assess the candidate’s Service and Other as set out in Article 20.01
g) Referees shall not be asked to make a recommendation either for or against promotion.
h) Referees shall be asked to submit their letters of appraisal by December 1.

Referees shall assess all aspects of a candidate’s Teaching and shall do so based on the materials in the Teaching Dossier and may spend some time observing the candidate’s Teaching.

Referees. Referee letters are not required for promotion to Senior Lecturer. For promotion to University Lecturer, at least four letters of reference from internal or external referees of high academic stature must support promotion to this rank. Referees will be chosen in the same manner as those for research faculty promotions.

The Tournament Host and Referee Assignor agree to assign and use only referees that at the time of this Tournament are currently USSF licensed and have met the IYSA and ISRC compliance requirements. Prior to being assigned to officiate at the Tournament, each referee who is 18 or older must have passed the required IYSA background search, submitted his/her Heads Up Concussion in Youth Sports Completion Certificate and the current annual US Center for Safe Sport Training Completion Certificate, and be in good standing with the IYSA, ISSA, ISRC, USSF. The Tournament Host and Referee Assignor agree to accept only the number of teams for whom they can provide USSF licensed and ISRC certified referees. No one shall officiate as a referee in any match under the jurisdiction (direct or indirect) of the United State Soccer Federation who is not registered with the Federation for the current year unless that person is a foreign referee who has been properly accredited by his or her national association and has passed the IYSA background search and successfully completed his/her ISRC referee compliance requirements. Tournament Host will submit the list of Tournament referees to the IYSA with the Post Tournament Report. Contact the Illinois Soccer Referee Committee office to obtain a USSF credentialed Assessor to conduct developmental mentoring or assessments at The Tournament.
