Daily Hours of Work. Article 11.1 (a) and (b) encompasses all employees unless otherwise stated in this Agreement.
Daily Hours of Work. Seven (7) hours shall constitute an ordinary days work and thirty-five (35) hours a week prevails. Daily hours of work shall fall between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday inclusive. The daily hours shall be worked within an eight-hour period.
Daily Hours of Work. 24.1 Daily hours of work shall be 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. less one-half hour for lunch (unpaid) for the day shift. In the case of the afternoon shift, the hours of work shall be 3:30 p.m. to 12:00 p.m. with a thirty (30) minute unpaid lunch break. In the case of three shift operations, there shall be a twenty minute lunch period paid for at regular rates. The hours of such shifts shall be 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.; 4:00 p.m. to 12 midnight and 12:00 midnight to 8:00 a.m.
24.2 In a special situation of short duration, changes of shift will only be allowed for safety and production reasons. The Union will be informed prior to these changes taking place.
24.3 A fifteen (15) minute rest break will be provided in each full half shift which will include travel time from the employee's work station to the cafeteria and return.
24.4 Where shift rotation is required, such shifts shall be rotated equitably on a weekly basis and no employee will be required to work more than one (1) week on the same off shift. No employee will be sent home with instructions to report on a later shift, without his/her consent, provided there remains a junior employee who is capable of performing the work. Unless with the consent of an employee, when a change of shift rotation of five (5) days or more is required, an employee will be given two (2) working days notice. Where a fixed shift other than day shift is utilized, a senior employee holding the classification shall have the right to volunteer and shall receive preference over a junior employee. If no employee volunteers for the fixed shift, the junior employee will be assigned the shift.
Daily Hours of Work. Regular hours worked in any one (1) day shall not exceed seven (7) hours unless mutually agreed to for the sole purpose of reducing the number of days in the work week.

Daily Hours of Work. Any provision related to the specification of the number of daily weekly hours of work that existed in the hospital's expiring collective agreement, will be continued as Article "The Hospital will schedule one fifteen (15) minute rest period for each full scheduled half shift." (This clause is applicable to part-time employees only) "Part-time employees shall be entitled to a paid rest period of fifteen (15) minutes for each three and three-quarter (3 hours of work."
Daily Hours of Work. The standard work day for all employees shall be hours exclusive of hour unpaid meal break, and the standard work week shall be hours. The meal period shall be an uninterrupted period except in cases of emergency.
Daily Hours of Work. Unless voluntarily agreed by the Academic Staff Member, no Academic staff shall be assigned a teaching schedule spanning more than nine (9) hours in a day. The period of assignable work each contract year for Academic Staff Members, other than counsellors, whose usual and primary role is instructional will be weeks of assignable work. The assignable work period will be from late August to late May and will be developed and applied annually once the academic schedule is approved for each year by Academic Council. The period of assignable work each contract year for Academic Staff Members whose usual and primary role is counselling will be weeks of assignable work from July to June of each year. Variations to the academic year will normally be made by mutual agreement between the Administrators and the Academic Staff Member involved. For programs which operate beyond the dates described in sub-section above, Administrators will have the flexibility to schedule "weeks of assignable work" outside the dates referred to in sub-section above, in order to meet program requirements. This assignment should be made no later than the end of May prior to the commencement of the next academic year. Effective January,
Daily Hours of Work a) Daily hours of work shall be consecutive with the exception of rest and meal periods. No split shift shall be worked except by the mutual agreement of the employee and Employer. The Employer will notify the Union of any split shifts worked.
b) All Full Time Employees shall be scheduled for shifts of a minimum of four (4) hours duration. Upon mutual agreement of the employee and the Employer, only Part Time Employees may" be scheduled for shifts of less than four (4) hours and only upon the mutual agreement of the employee and Employer. The Employer will notify the Union of any shifts that are less than four (4) hours.
