Relieving Rates of Pay. Employees shall not have their rate reduced by reason of being temporarily assigned to a lower paid classification. Employees permanently assigned to a lower paid Wage Group shall have their hourly rate reduced to the rate for the classification to which they are assigned. Employees temporarily assigned to work in a higher paid classification shall receive the higher rate of pay for all time so employed.
Relieving Rates of Pay. 26.01 When an employee is assigned to relieve in a higher paying classification, she shall receive the higher rate of pay where such relieving is for more than one (1) working shift. In such event, the relieving rate will be retroactive to the start of such shift.
26.02 An employee assigned to relieve an employee excluded from the Agreement shall be paid a premium of one dollar ($1.00) per hour for all hours worked in the excluded position.
Relieving Rates of Pay. 7.01 Any employee relieving another employee in a classification calling for a higher rate of pay, providing the relieving is for more than one (1) day, shall receive the higher rate of pay for all hours worked in that classification.

11.02 Relief duties shall not exceed six (6) weeks. Any period over six (6) weeks shall be treated as a temporary promotion and so posted.
11.03 The appointment of an employee to a senior position for relief duty shall be confirmed by the Lab to the Association by letter.

7.03 Any employee that holds a valid Red Pass and a DA license shall be paid hours worked a maximum of fifty cents ($0.50) premium. The premium is given only when utilizing the Red Pass or DA license.

A regular full-time employee designated by the Employer to fill a position temporarily in the scope of this Agreement, paying a higher rate of pay, shall receive not less than the minimum of the range of the temporary position provided that such relieving period is for seven (7) working days or more. An employee shall be required to work the seven (7) working days waiting period only once in each calendar year for a given position or in an identical level and kind of position. In the event of an employee‘s renderingtemporary service in a classification in which the rate is lower than has been received by hisher regular pay shall not be reduced.
