Repatriation Benefit. When Accidental Bodily Injuries result in a loss of life benefit amount being payable, and the loss of life occurs at least 100 kilometers from the Insured Person’s permanent city of residence, Allianz will pay for the cost of preparation and transportation of Insured Person’s body to such place of residence. The maximum Repatriation Benefit payable is $10,000 per loss of life.

When the employee initiates and terminates the contract before expiry of the initial contract term; and iii. When the service status is changed from contract to regular or regular to contract, except if required to travel to a new place of posting which should be as per Section 9.11 of the BCSR 2023.

Family Transportation Benefit In the event you are on a trip covered by this plan, and are confined as an inpatient in a hospital because of injuries which result in a loss payable under the Loss Schedule and require the personal attendance of a member of your immediate family as recommended by the attending physician, the plan will pay up to $10,000 for the expense incurred by the member for transportation by the most direct route by a licensed common carrier to be in attendance with you. Education Benefit In the event of your accidental death, the plan provides a benefit of up to $5,000 (or 5% of your insured amount, whichever is less) to your dependent child, provided the child was enrolled on a full-time basis in an institution of higher learning beyond the 12th grade level at the time of your death, or was enrolled in the 12th grade level and subsequently enrolls as a full-time student in an institution of higher learning within 365 days of your death. The maximum benefit is in combination with the Education Benefit maximum provided under any other policy issued by the insurer, and is payable annually for a maximum of four (4) consecutive annual payments, provided the child continues to be enrolled in the institute of higher learning. Payment will not be made for expenses incurred prior to the date of your death, nor for room, board or other ordinary living, travelling or clothing expenses. If, at the time of your accidental death, you have no dependent child(ren) eligible for either the Education Benefit or the Day Care Benefit, the insurer will pay $1,500 to your designated beneficiary. Repatriation Benefit. If a benefit is paid under Item 15 for loss of the Member’s life and death occurred at least 100 miles away from the Member’s permanent place of residence, all customary and reasonable expenses incurred for preparation of the body and its transportation to the place of burial or cremation will be paid up to a maximum benefit payment of $2,000.
Repatriation Benefit. If an insured dies at least 75 miles from the insured's principal address and is eligible for the life benefit, a benefit shall be paid for the preparation and transportation of the body to a mortuary. The benefit shall be either the actual cost of the preparation and transportation or $5,000, whichever is less.
