Repatriation of Mortal Remains. In the event an Insured dies outside of his/her country of residence, the Insurer will pay up to five thousand dollars ($5,000) toward repatriation of the deceased’s remains to the deceased’s country of residence if the death resulted from a condition which would have been covered under the terms of the policy had the Insured survived. Cover- age is limited to only those services and supplies necessary to prepare the deceased’s body and to transport the deceased to his country of residence. Arrangements must be coordinated in conjunction with USA Medical Services.

Repatriation of Mortal Remains. If You suffer a Disability during Your Overseas Journey and result in death, Our Service Provider will make: 1. all the necessary transportation arrangements (including any procedures or arrangements necessary to meet local formalities) for the return of Your mortal remains to Your Home; and 2. all the necessary arrangements for funeral, cremation, casket or embalming (if so selected) at the place of death in Overseas, but excluding any expenses related to religious rights, ceremonies or burial posts. The decisions on the means of transportation and final destination will be made by the Service Provider at Our sole discretion. You must follow Our or the Service Provider’s instruction and direction at all times. 1. services rendered without the authorization and/or intervention of the Service Provider; 2. services provided by any parties other than the Service Provider for which no charge is usually made;
Repatriation of Mortal Remains. In the event of the Member’s death arising from the Medical Emergency or whilst hospitalised outside the country of Residence, Specialty Emergency Services will repatriate the mortal remains by scheduled aircraft or pay for burial or cremation in the country of their death up to an amount equivalent to the repatriation costs that would have been incurred in repatriating the mortal remains. Mortal remains are repatriated to the member’s country of residence only, unless the family and Specialty Emergency Services both agree on a different destination for practical or cost reasons. 3.10.1 The above costs shall not exceed the limits stated in the Table of Benefits in respect of any one Member.

Arrangements must be coordinated in conjunction with USA Medical Services. 6.1 CONGENITAL AND/OR HEREDITARY DISORDERS: Coverage under this policy for congenital and/or hereditary disorders is as follows: (a) The maximum benefit for disorders first manifested before the insured’s eighteenth (18th) birthday is one hundred thousand dollars (US$100,000) per insured, per lifetime, including any benefits already paid on a Bupa policy or rider, after the applicable deductible. (b) Benefits for disorders first manifested on or after the insured’s eighteenth (18th) birthday are equal to the maximum policy limit herein, after the applicable deductible. (c) The benefit starts once the congenital and/or hereditary condition has been diagnosed by a physician. The benefit is retroactive to any period prior to the identification of the actual condition. 6.2 PROSTHETIC LIMBS: Prosthetic limb devices include artificial arms, hands, legs, and feet, and are covered up to a maximum of thirty thousand dollars (US$30,000) per insured, per policy year, with a lifetime maximum of one hundred twenty thousand dollars (US$120,000). The benefit includes all the costs associated with the procedure, including any therapy related to the usage of the new limb.

Repatriation of Mortal Remains. In the event of death of the BENEFICIARY, the COMPANY will arrange and pay for the repatriation of the mortal remains to the original place of residence. Upon request of a representative of the BENEFICIARY, The COMPANY will arrange and pay for the burial or similar services at the place of decease up to an amount not to exceed the cost of repatriation as above described.
Repatriation of Mortal Remains. In the event of an Insured Person sustaining death as a result of Bodily Injury or Sickness outside Hong Kong during the Covered Trip, the Emergency Assistance Provider will, subject to the Terms of this Policy, arrange and pay for the necessary repatriation expenses of the Insured Person's mortal remains or ashes to Hong Kong on condition that any unused portion of the travel ticket will be surrendered to the Emergency Assistance Provider. All decisions as to the means of repatriation will be made by the Emergency Assistance Provider. This Policy will not cover any repatriation that is not arranged by the Emergency Assistance Provider and no benefit will be payable if such expenses are recoverable from any other sources or insurance policies.
