RFIs. During the course of construction, all Requests for Information (“RFI”) must be responded to as expeditiously as possible so as not to impact and delay the construction progress. In no case shall the review period associated with an RFI exceed seven (7) calendar days from the receipt by the Architect, unless the complexity of the RFI warrants a longer time period for review as reasonably agreed to by the District in writing in its sole discretion. Architect’s response to each RFI shall be a substantive and acceptable response. This 7-day time period shall not include time when a submittal is within the District’s control or if the submittal is being reviewed by DSA. In no way does this provision reduce the Architect’s liability if it fails to prepare acceptable documents.
RFIs. Construction Manager must maintain a log of requests for information (“RFI”) submitted by the Contractor(s) to the Construction Manager or any member of the Design Team. Construction Manager shall utilize the Council’s management information system(s) (“MIS”), as developed, for this purpose.

RFIs. During the course of construction, Architect must respond to all Requests for Information (“RFI”) as expeditiously as possible so as not to impact and delay the construction progress. In no case shall Architect’s review period associated with a RFI exceed seven (7) Days, unless the complexity of the RFI warrants a longer time period for review as reasonably agreed to by District in writing in its sole discretion. Architect’s response to each RFI shall be a substantive and acceptable response. This 7-day time period includes time when a submittal is within the control of Architect’s Consultants. This 7-day time period shall not include time when a submittal is within District’s control or if the submittal is being reviewed by DSA. RFIs. All RFIs are to be detailed to such extent that the RFI can be submitted to the Owner or Architect without additional edits and/or clarifications.
