Roads and Access. NPWS* and SFNSW* must prepare a Memorandum of Understanding on joint usage of roads and trails, a process for determining contributions to road and trail maintenance, access arrangements and related issues for endorsement by Director-General of NPWS* and the Chief Executive Officer of SFNSW* by 1 January 2000. Until the Memorandum of Understanding is in place, maintenance and construction costs associated with these roads and trails that are required for forestry operations* or access by SFNSW* and are within the lands subject to this agreement, must be negotiated on a case by case basis.
Roads and Access. Xxxxxxx Crescent East and Xxxxxxx Avenue shall be maintained by the Municipality as an all season gravel road. Grading, gravelling and snow removal shall be provided by the Municipality as it, in its sole discretion, considers necessary. Each property shall be permitted one access only onto either Xxxxxxx Crescent East or Xxxxxxx Avenue. Additional approaches shall only be permitted if approved by Council of the Municipality, and shall be at the cost of the land owner. Roads and Access. The primary objective of road operations is to plan, establish and maintain access to and from forest management areas. Some of the activities which require road access include harvesting, silviculture, protection, recreation, tourism and botanical collection. Due to the fact that road building and maintenance is a costly endeavour, timber harvesting will provide the majority of the required capital. In time, tourism or other resource users may play a small role in providing some financial support. We commit to providing safe, efficiently planned roads which respect all environmental and legal considerations. A significant portion of the Agreement Area incorporates steep, rugged topography where terrain stability field assessments and engineered road designs will be conducted to ensure that roads are of a high quality. Also, some roads may need to be considered near riparian areas, private land or other sensitive locations. Detailed consultation with the effected parties will take place in conjunction with or prior to public review and advertising of operational plans.
Roads and Access. The Developer Tract shall be accessible by Alder Avenue and East 8th Street. East Maryland Lane also fronts the north boundary of the Developer Tract. No surface improvements to Alder Avenue, East 8th Street, or East Maryland Lane will be constructed upon annexation beyond pavement restoration for utility extensions. The City shall rely on the attached Waiver filed concurrently herewith, to ensure the installation of any or all future public road improvements.
Roads and Access. (a) The Owner shall, at its own expense, prior to construction taking place within a Town Road Allowance, obtain a Town Temporary Works Permit from the Public Works Department.
