Safety Committee Responsibilities. The safety committee will: A. Review safety and health inspection reports; B. Identify unsafe conditions or practices and assist in correction of identified unsafe conditions or practices; C. Evaluate accident investigations to determine if the cause of the unsafe condition involved was properly identified and corrected; X. Xxxxxxxx the accident and illness prevention program and discuss recommendations for improvement where indicated; and E. Evaluate the availability and condition of protective clothing/equipment, and evaluate the development of new protective clothing/equipment. Committee recommendations will be forwarded to the Superintendent for review and action, as necessary. The Superintendent will report such action/information to the Safety Committee as soon as possible.

Safety Committee Responsibilities. The responsibilities of the Safety Committee shall be: (a) to meet regularly during regular full season operations to take up such safety matters which may be brought before it by either the Employees or the Employer; (b) to make regular inspections of the areas of work; (c) to review reports of accidents and incident and to make recommendations for remedial or preventative action to Management; and (d) to review the Employer's safety rules and make recommendations on amendments or additions.

  • Joint Responsibilities The relationship between SAE ITC, the Activities and its Members shall be, and at all times, advisory only, and no party shall have the authority to enter into any contract or commitment in the name of, or on behalf of, any other party. Nothing in this Agreement shall be construed to confer upon either party the status of employee, agent, partner, joint venturer or legal representative of the other, it being intended by all parties to remain independent legal entities solely responsible for its own actions.
