SAFETY EQUIPMENT & SUPPLIES. No employee shall be required to provide at his/her own expense safety equipment, supplies, or protective garments, including, but not limited to gloves and/or masks, to perform any task for a client. The Employer shall provide both latex-free and powder-free options for gloves, and shall dispense the gloves in such a manner as to safeguard the sterile conditions. If such a situation arises where there are insufficient supplies or materials, the employee will report the situation immediately to his/her supervisor. The Employer will make a good faith effort to provide assistive technology, (i.e., Xxxxx lift, lift belts, etc.) for client transfer.

The Employer shall provide both latex-free and powder‐free options for gloves and shall dispense the gloves in such a manner as to safeguard the sterile conditions. If such a situation arises where there are insufficient appropriate supplies or materials, the employee will report the situation immediately to their supervisor and/or their department head. New PPE will be provided as often as needed, but not less than once per shift. Guidelines for N- 95 masks will be provided per the most up-to-date guidance from the CDC, Department of Labor and Industries and/or Department of Health. The Employer shall provide employees with any protective equipment recommended for nursing home employees by the Department of Labor and Industries and/or Department of Health.

  • Equipment Supplies and Property The Grantee shall have a property management system that meets federal requirements as stated by this Contract and WIC program policy. Items to be used for the originally authorized purpose as long as needed for that purpose, during which time the Grantee not dispose of or encumber its title or other interests. Grantee will not encumber equipment purchased with System Agency funds without prior written approval from the System Agency.

  • Safety Equipment Should the employment duties of an employee in the bargaining unit require use of any equipment or gear to insure the safety of the employee or others, the District agrees to furnish such equipment or gear.

  • Rented Equipment Payment for required equipment rented from an outside company that is neither an affiliate of, nor a subsidiary of, the Design-Builder will be based on receipted invoices which shall not exceed rates given in the current edition of the Rental Rate Blue Book for Construction Equipment published by Data Quest. If actual rental rates exceed manual rates, written justification shall be furnished to the Contracting Officer for consideration. No additional allowance will be made for overhead and profit. The Design-Builder shall submit written certification to the Contracting Officer that any required rented equipment is neither owned by nor rented from the Design- Builder or an affiliate of or subsidiary of the Design-Builder.

  • STANDARD EQUIPMENT All items of standard equipment which are provided by the OEM shall be furnished unless such items are expressly deleted by the Authorized User or are specified to be other than standard in the Mini-Bid. When Optional equipment is specified, all components listed in the OEM’s data book as being included with the Option shall be furnished.

  • EQUIPMENT HIRE 3.1 Tardis shall hire the Equipment to the Customer for use at the Site subject to the terms and conditions of this agreement.

  • Equipment Use Lessee agrees that the Equipment will be operated by competent, qualified personnel in connection with Lessee's business for the purpose for which the Equipment was designed and in accordance with applicable operating instructions, laws, and government regulations, and that Lessee shall use all reasonable precautions to prevent loss or damage to the Equipment from fire and other hazards.   • Durable Medical Equipment (DME), Medical Supplies Prosthetic Devices, Enteral Formula or Food, and Hair Prosthesis (Wigs) • Items typically found in the home that do not need a prescription and are easily obtainable such as, but not limited to: o adhesive bandages; o elastic bandages; o gauze pads; and o alcohol swabs. • DME and medical supplies prescribed primarily for the convenience of the member or the member’s family, including but not limited to, duplicate DME or medical supplies for use in multiple locations or any DME or medical supplies used primarily to assist a caregiver. • Non-wearable automatic external defibrillators. • Replacement of durable medical equipment and prosthetic devices prescribed because of a desire for new equipment or new technology. • Equipment that does not meet the basic functional need of the average person. • DME that does not directly improve the function of the member. • Medical supplies provided during an office visit. • Pillows or batteries, except when used for the operation of a covered prosthetic device, or items for which the sole function is to improve the quality of life or mental wellbeing. • Repair or replacement of DME when the equipment is under warranty, covered by the manufacturer, or during the rental period. • Infant formula, nutritional supplements and food, or food products, whether or not prescribed, unless required by R.I. Law §27-20-56 for Enteral Nutrition Products, or delivered through a feeding tube as the sole source of nutrition. • Corrective or orthopedic shoes and orthotic devices used in connection with footwear, unless for the treatment of diabetes. Experimental or Investigational Services • Treatments, procedures, facilities, equipment, drugs, devices, supplies, or services that are experimental or investigational except as described in Section 3. Gender Reassignment Services • Reversal of gender reassignment surgery.

  • PRODUCT MANUFACTURER'S SUPPLIERS Only those dealers/distributors listed by the manufacturer will be considered authorized to act on behalf of the Product Manufacturer.

  • Rental Equipment 7.1 We will at all times own all Rental Equipment supplied to you. You will not let, sell, charge, assign, sub-license or allow a third party to use the Rental Equipment nor remove any labels, and shall not prejudice our rights in the Rental Equipment in any way. We may replace the Rental Equipment from time to time either with your prior consent or provided that the replacement Rental Equipment is of a specification that is at least equal to the Rental Equipment originally supplied and such change does not materially disrupt the provision of the Services.
