SCHEDULED WORK CALENDAR. 1. Work weeks, with beginning and ending dates for those employees working less than fifty- two (52) weeks per year, shall be distributed one month prior to the next school year. It is understood that there will be no extension of currently assigned work weeks without mutual consent of the employee involved, their direct supervisor and approval from the Human Resource Office, unless there is a significant change in the current school calendar. Work weeks are what are budgeted. If the total time is not needed, it is not mandatory that it be used. 2. Employees in Grades I, II and III will not be scheduled to work during District in- service days, record making days or parent-teacher conferences, when students are not in attendance, with the exception of all media staff. If an employee in Grades I, II and III is needed to work for a specific reason on the before mentioned days, a request shall be made, in writing by the building principal, and must be approved in advance by the Assistant Superintendent for Human Resources. If employees in Grades I and II are invited to attend District-Wide orientation meetings on opening day or other times scheduled during the year, those attending will be paid at their hourly rate for the actual hours worked.

  • Scheduled Days Off Except in cases of emergency, no employee will be required to return to his/her place of employment on his/her scheduled day off.

  • Holiday Falling on a Scheduled Workday An Employee who works on a designated holiday which is a scheduled workday shall be compensated at the rate of double time for hours worked, plus a day off in lieu of the holiday; except for Christmas and New Year's when the compensation shall be at the rate of double time and one-half (2½) for hours worked, plus a day off subject to this Agreement.

  • Work Year The full-time work year for all employees employed in EA and ECE job classes shall be a minimum of 194 work days to correspond with the school year calendar.

  • Work Day and Work Week The normal work day shall consist of up to 8 hours of work within a 24-hour period. The normal work week shall consist of up to 40 hours of work within a 7-day period. The Employer may define the work week on an individual, department, shift or facility basis in accordance with Federal and State law.

  • School Calendar The Dual Credit course schedule will be determined by the location of the course delivery, provided that the required contact hours and prerequisites are met. The instructional calendar for the high school portion of the School will be based on the School District calendar and comply with all related TEA regulations for school attendance. The School District will adjust its schedule as necessary to enable Students to enroll in and attend the college- level courses provided by College. The School District and College will coordinate the State Student assessment requirements to ensure said assessments are administered without penalty. The School District, School and College will ensure that the School calendar accounts for the required per-semester contact hours for courses. When the instructional delivery is on the College site, it may be necessary for Students to attend classes on days when the School District is closed (e.g., different holiday closures). When Students take classes at the College scheduled on days when School is closed, the School District will ensure that at least one staff member with administrative authority be on call and available to be reached by the College’s Office of High School Programs or other College staff in case of emergency. The designated School staff member will have access to Student emergency contact information. While the College agrees to make scheduling accommodations for required State assessments, including the STAAR and End of Course Exams, all contact hour requirements must be met. For assessments not mandated by the State, the College and School District will come to a mutual agreement on administration dates in order to appropriately manage disruptions of college courses and ensure contact hour requirements are met.

  • Calendar Applications/nominations of incoming students must reach the receiving institution by (the deadlines indicated herewith are not final and different dates might apply and can be agreed upon): CZ PT 15 June 30 November 15 June 30 November PT CZ 31 May 1 November 15 June 15 November CZ PT --- --- --- PT CZ --- --- --- The receiving institution will send its decision within 5 weeks after the deadline for mobility to PT and within 4 weeks after the deadline for mobility to CZ.

  • Regular Work Day A regular work day shall consist of six and one-half (6½) hours between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.

  • Calendar Year Calendar Year" for the purposes of this Agreement shall mean the twelve (12) month period from January 1st to December 31st, inclusive.

  • Modified Work Week Where Employees in a unit have indicated a desire to work a modified work week, the Employer may authorize experiments with modified work week schedule, providing operational requirements permit and the provision of services are not adversely affected. The averaging period for a modified work week shall not exceed three (3) calendar weeks, and the work day shall not exceed ten (10) hours .

  • Regular Work Week The regular work week shall be any five (5) consecutive days, Sunday through Saturday, for a total regular work week of forty (40) working hours, subject to the applicable premiums where provided for in this Agreement. Notwithstanding the above, employees may volunteer to work schedules that fall outside of the regular work week of Sunday through Saturday and may do so, upon approval by the Company, and with no penalty cost to the Company, but with applicable premiums as provided for in this Agreement.
