Scheduling and Taking Vacations. As far as possible, vacations shall be granted at times most desired by the employee, with preference to employees with greatest seniority in case of conflict, but final right to schedule vacation is reserved to the Company in order to ensure orderly and efficient operations. Employees shall provide at least ten (10) calendar days' notice when requesting vacation leave unless extenuating circumstances occur beyond the employee's control.

Sick Time: Fulltime Employees will accrue 2.33 Hours of sick leave per pay period (24 pay periods per year)/2.15 Hours of sick leave per pay period (26 pay periods/year) and will be allowed to accumulate up to 56 hours. Sick leave may be used as needed. Sick leave should be scheduled in advanced if possible. Employees are not required to furnish a medical certificate for sick leave, except when the absence exceeds three (3) consecutive work days.   • Scheduling Vacations Vacations are to be scheduled in advance and taken at such reasonable times as approved by the employee's department with particular regard to the needs of the Employer, seniority of employee, and, insofar as practicable, with regard to the wishes of the employee.
