Section 8.9.1. An employee returning from a Board approved leave of absence shall be assigned to the 39 position occupied before the leave of absence. In the event the position does not exist in the 40 District, the employee will be assigned to a position substantially comparable to the position 41 held before the leave of absence. 43 Current employees shall be allowed to move to a leave of absence assignment (subject to 44 seniority provisions in Section 9.5.), provided that only one (1) such employee may do so for 45 each leave of absence.

Section 8.9.1. 22 The returning employee will be assigned to the same position occupied before the leave of 23 absence. If the position is no longer in existence the employee shall be assigned to a position 24 in the same general job classification with equal hours, benefits and pay. Section 8.9.1. At the time of separation from school district employment, an eligible employee as 24 defined by RCW 28A.400.210(2) or the employee's estate shall receive remuneration at a rate equal to 25 one (1) day's current monetary compensation for each four (4) full days accrued leave for illness or 26 injury, provided no employee may receive compensation under this section for any portion of leave for 27 illness or injury which was accumulated at a rate in excess of one (1) day per month.

  • Section 6.2 13 The Association representatives may represent the Association and employees in meeting with officials 14 of the District to discuss appropriate matters of mutual interest.
