SENIORITY/LONGEVITY. 23.01 LONGEVITY: Longevity, for the purpose of this contract, is defined to be the length of continuous uninterrupted service from the date of hire in the Orange County Fire Rescue Department, including any continuous uninterrupted service as firefighters of the abolished Fire Control Districts. Longevity continues to accrue during all types of leave.

SENIORITY/LONGEVITY. Section 1: Longevity payments will be made as follows 3 - 5 years continuous employment: 0.50 /hour 5 - 7 years continuous employment: 0.65/hour 7 - 10 years continuous employment: 0.85/hour 10 - 15 years continuous employment: 1.00/hour 15 - 20 years continuous employment: 1.15/hour 20 - 25 years continuous employment: 1.30/hour 25 - 30 years continuous employment: 1.45/hour After 30 years an additional .20 per hour shall be added for each year thereafter. The above rates will be paid in addition to the base pay for the employee's classification.
SENIORITY/LONGEVITY. Seniority means an employee’s length of continuous service as a full-time Patrol Deputy within the Patrol Division. The Patrol Division shall consist of full-time Patrol Deputies, Corporals, Detectives, Sergeants, and Detective Sergeant. Longevity means an employee’s length of continuous service as an employee of the County of Waldo regardless of classification.
SENIORITY/LONGEVITY. 8.1 Seniority shall mean the length of continuous service within the Durham Police Department as a regular employee computed by time spent on the payroll plus approved absences, including educational, military and sick leave.

  • Seniority Lost Seniority will be lost when an employee:

  • Seniority Roster The District shall maintain an updated seniority roster, indicating employee's class seniority and hire date seniority. Such rosters shall be available to CSEA.

  • SENIORITY 10.1 Seniority shall be defined as an employee's uninterrupted length of continuous service as a bargaining unit member. The three (3) month freeze may be extended by mutual written agreement of the Union and the Agency.

  • SENIORITY, LAYOFF, RECALL Employees will be laid off or reduced to part-time when necessary in reverse order of seniority providing the senior employee possesses the required qualifications and demonstrated ability to perform the necessary job functions after a thirty (30) day familiarization period. Employees will be recalled to work in order of seniority providing the senior employee possesses the required qualifications and demonstrated ability to perform the necessary job functions within a thirty (30) day familiarization period.

  • Seniority List The Employer shall maintain a seniority list showing the date upon which each employee's service commenced. An up-to-date seniority list shall be sent to the Union and posted on all bulletin boards in January of each year.

  • Super Seniority In the event of a layoff, the Plant Chairperson, Committeepersons and Stewards shall have super seniority.

  • Seniority Tie Breaker The Employer and the Union agree that where there is a tie in seniority between two or more Employees, a determination of seniority shall be made in the following manner:

  • Seniority Rosters Quarterly, the Employer shall prepare a roster of all bargaining unit employees in an institution, geographic jurisdiction or Agency as appropriate. The roster will list employees in descending order of State seniority credits and will contain each employee’s name, State seniority credits, and Institutional seniority credits if applicable. Seniority rosters will be provided to the Chapter President or Assembly President and posted in the work areas of affected employees. Where available, the Employer may provide an electronic posting of the roster in lieu of a paper roster. Each employee’s individual employee seniority credits will be displayed on the employee’s earnings statement.
