Seniority Preamble. When, for educational or budgetary reasons the Board determines that it is necessary to reduce the total number of teachers employed by the Board, the Board may lay off a teacher in accordance with the terms of this article.
Seniority Preamble. The Parties recognize that job opportunity and security should increase in proportion to length of service.
