Shift Lead. An employee that performs and inspects aircraft maintenance assigned by the 36 Company, on a permanent or temporary basis, to lead, direct, and train personnel performing 37 aviation maintenance and programs on a shift.
Shift Lead. Shift Lead shall be bargaining unit member assigned by the department Director/Supervisor to oversee nursing functions in a specific nursing group. The Shift Lead will be assigned on an as need basis. Shift Leads will be responsible for clinical and personnel oversight to ensure optimum workflow and quality patient care.
Shift Lead. 6.5.1 An employee who is assigned to additional duties and responsibilities for the duration of a work shift and who is eligible to receive out of class pay for that additional work
Shift Lead. This Letter of Understanding is to be applied instead of Article 7.04 of the Collective Agreement for as long as the Letter of Understanding is in effect. Accordingly, the Employer and the Union agree to the following: The Employer may designate one (1) or more Regular employees to act as a shift lead for a given shift. Employees designated as a shift lead are expected to perform leadership duties as directed. Employees designated as shift lead will be compensated as follows for each hour worked in that capacity in addition to their regular hourly wage: Shift lead—Building Service Worker: $1.00/hr Shift lead—Operations Worker: $1.25/hr Shift lead—Facility Attendant: $0.75/hr Either party may terminate the operation of this agreement by providing sixty (60) calendar days’ written notice, but in any case this agreement shall be in place for no less than one (1) year following the date of ratification of the Memorandum of Agreement that renewed the 2012-2015 Collective Agreement.
