Sick Leave Accumulation ARTICLE XVII SICK LEAVE. Employees shall accumulate one (1) day’s paid sick leave (according to classification and based on daily calculation of hours) for each month worked up to eighty-eight (88) days (equivalent to classification hours) for personal illness or other approved reasons. Employees must have worked the previous school year in the school system and have worked the previous school year in the school system and completed their thirty (30) day probationary period to receive full credit for their sick leave at the beginning of the school year. Non-seniority employees who have not worked the previous school year and have not completed their probationary period shall receive credit at the rate of one day per month for the balance of the school year. Employees must work not less than one-half (1/2) of the month to receive credit for the month. The Board agrees that during the months of September and March they will post the total number of accumulated sick days each seniority and non-seniority bargaining unit employee has to their credit.

  • Sick Leave Accumulation a. All unused days of sick leave at full pay for all employees, shall accumulate to a maximum of two hundred ten (210) days. Such sick leave benefits so accrued will be usable after the annual full days allowed, and prior to any half pay benefits.

  • Sick Leave Accrual Full-time employees will accrue eight (8) hours of sick leave in a calendar month. Part- time employees will accrue sick leave credit on the same proportional basis that their employment schedule bears to a full-time schedule, up to a maximum of eight (8) hours in a calendar month.

  • Vacation Accumulation (a) Vacations are not cumulative from year to year.

  • Accumulation of Sick Leave The unused portion of an Employee's sick leave shall accrue for her future benefit, up to a maximum of one hundred and thirty (130) days.

  • Vacation Leave on Retirement ‌ An employee scheduled to retire and to receive pension benefits under the Public Service Pension Plan Rules or who has reached the mandatory retiring age, shall be granted full vacation entitlement for the final calendar year of service.

  • Cumulative Sick Leave Plan Each employee shall accumulate sick leave with pay entitlement at the rate of one-half work day for each full bi-weekly pay period on paid status up to a maximum accumulation of 155 days of unused sick leave with pay entitlement.

  • Sick Leave Benefit There are two types of sick leave benefits. Annual sick leave is the sick leave days credited each year to each employee in accordance with the provisions of the local collective bargaining agreements. Banked sick leave is previously accumulated unused sick leave to which unused annual sick leave may be added at the end of each anniversary year.

  • Vacation and Sick Leave At such reasonable times as the Board of Directors shall in its discretion permit, the Employee shall be entitled, without loss of pay, to absent himself voluntarily from the performance of his employment under this Agreement, with all such voluntary absences to count as vacation time; provided that:

  • Vacation Leave Accrual ‌ After a full-time employee has been in pay status for eighty (80) non-overtime hours in a calendar month, the employee will accrue vacation leave according to the rate schedule below. Vacation leave accrual for part-time employees will be proportionate to the number of hours the part-time employee is in pay status during the month to that required for full-time employment.
