Accumulated Sick Days. The Western Xxxxx County Community School Corporation shall provide a severance benefit upon retirement of $90 per day of actual unused accumulated sick leave up to a maximum of 120 days contingent upon the following eligibility criteria:
Accumulated Sick Days. Teachers shall be given a written accounting of accumulated sick leave days at least once a year. Individual teachers may request accumulated sick leave day’s status throughout the year.
Accumulated Sick Days. The number of days of accumulated sick days a teacher has shall be shown in the on-line employee payroll link.
Accumulated Sick Days. Fifty ($50.00) Dollars per day will be paid for accumulated sick leave upon terminal retirement under the provisions of the Michigan Public School Employees Retirement System. Unused personal business days will be added to a teacher's accumulated sick leave up to two hundred five/one hundred (205/100) days. The Board will compensate teachers Fifty ($50.00) Dollars a day for any sick days in excess of two hundred five/one hundred (205/100) days for accumulations up to a maximum of thirteen (13) days per school year. The reimbursement will be made by the first regular payroll check in July.
Accumulated Sick Days. Each member shall be notified prior to the first day of each school year of the total number of his sick days accumulated up to and including the last preceding school year.
Accumulated Sick Days. A. An adjustment of the salary of the final year of service of an employee, who is retiring under the provisions of the New York State Employee’s Retirement System, will be made to compensate the employee for a proportion of the unused sick leave, which they have accumulated for a maximum of200 days.
B. The benefit will amount to thirty-three percent (33%) ofthe daily current rate of pay of the employee for each unused sick leave day that they have accumulated up to the end of the year in which they retire.
C. In order to qualify for tins benefit, the employee must indicate in writing to the Library Director the decision to retire 180 days prior to the date of retirement.
D. The special benefit payment will be included in the two final salary payments prior to time of retirement, at which time the exact number of unused sick leave days can be accurately computed.
Accumulated Sick Days. The total of the unused sick days that a teacher has at the end of the contract year.
Accumulated Sick Days. 4.2.1 Nurses shall be permitted to accumulate sick leave days up to a maximum of 200 days pursuant to Paragraph 9 of this Part B Agreement, and shall be permitted to cash in 12% of the accumulated unused sick days or receive 12% of their salary as of the date of retirement whichever is greater; or shall be allowed to apply unused sick days as additional service credit pursuant to option 41J of the New York State Employee Retirement System.
4.2.2 Nurses shall have the option to use the value of the accumulated sick day funds as set forth above to pay for health insurance in retirement and the amount shall be multiplied by
1. 035 and left on deposit with the District. There shall be no interest paid to the employee and the employee’s respective spouse shall be entitled to health insurance until the fund is exhausted in the case of the death of the employee and in the event that there is no spouse the remaining funds shall revert to the District. Accumulated Sick Days. All employees shall be notified as to their accumulated sick leave as of July 1, no later than the last pay in November of each year.
Accumulated Sick Days. Sick days will accumulate at the rate of one (1) day or seven (7) hours credit for each three hundred and three (303) hours worked. The maximum number of days accumulated is twelve (12) days. Employees shall utilize accumulated sick days from the first day of absence due to accident or illness. A doctor's certificate must be available if management so requests. The Employer shall pay for any such doctor's certificate/letter to a maximum of twenty-five dollars ($25.00). The payment will be as per the Wage Schedule, Section 6 of the Collective Agreement. When the schedule cannot be adjusted and where the employee provides the Employer with at least seven (7) days notice prior to the posting of the schedule, employees may utilize sick leave credits, if such credits exist, for appointments with surgeons, dentists and medical practitioners when such appointments cannot be arranged on scheduled time off. The maximum pay-out of such leave shall be seven (7) hours. This clause is available to employees who average twenty-four (24) hours per week and must have been in the employment of the Employer for a minimum of three (3) months (or four hundred and eighty [480] hours).
