Sick Leave Allowance, Accumulation a. Sick leave allowance means the number of days that a teacher has been credited through current and past service to the Board, and for which the teacher will be entitled to sick leave at the teacher's regular rate of pay. b. Sick leave allowance shall be credited to a continuing or temporary teacher on the basis of one and one-half (1 1/2) days for each month worked after April 1, 1968, plus one day for each month worked prior to April 1, 1968 in the current and past service of the Board. A month worked shall mean a month in which the teacher has been absent for not more than ten (10) teaching days. c. In any one year in which a teacher has not used the sick leave allowance or has used only a portion of it, the entire unused allowance shall accumulate for the teacher's future use without maximum.

  • Sick Leave Accumulation (a) An employee is eligible to accumulate sick leave with full pay at the rate of 16 working hours for each 173 1/3 hours of service. (b) The maximum number of days of sick leave which may be awarded to an employee during any consecutive twenty (20) year period of service shall not exceed 3840 hours.

  • Sick Leave Accrual All eligible employees shall accrue sick leave at the rate of four (4) hours per pay period of continuous employment beginning with their date of eligibility. Eligible employees being paid for less than a full eighty (80) hour pay period shall have sick leave accruals pro-rated in accord with the schedule set forth in Appendix D.

  • Vacation Leave Accrual ‌ After a full-time employee has been in pay status for eighty (80) non-overtime hours in a calendar month, the employee will accrue vacation leave according to the rate schedule below. Vacation leave accrual for part-time employees will be proportionate to the number of hours the part-time employee is in pay status during the month to that required for full-time employment.

  • Accumulated Sick Leave ‌ The Employer shall inform all employees at least once each year of the number of sick days accumulated and shall make the information available to an employee on request.

  • Accumulation of Vacation Leave Credits An employee shall earn vacation leave credits for each calendar month during which the employee receives pay for at least ten (10) days at the following rate:

  • Accumulation of Vacation Leave For each month of a fiscal year in which an employee receives ten (10) days pay, he shall earn vacation leave at the following rates:

  • Maximum Accumulation An employee may accumulate earned leave, excluding the separate vacation balance, if any, to a maximum of twice their annual time management accumulation. As of the end of the pay period in which March 31 falls in each year, any employee credited with accrued leave greater than twice their annual leave accumulation shall forfeit that amount above their maximum accumulation. An employee who has acquired the maximum allowable accumulation of earned leave may continue to accumulate earned leave for the balance of the year in which the maximum accrual was reached, provided, however, that the employee must reduce the accumulation to the maximum allowable prior to the following March 31 or forfeit the excess.
