Sick Leave Payout. Teacher(s) declaring retirement or voluntary resignation from the District prior to January 15th shall be paid sixty dollars ($60) per day for each unused sick day and forty dollars ($40) per day if notification to the District is January 15th or after. If a bargaining unit member is laid off from the District, the employee shall be paid forty dollars ($40) per day for each unused accumulated sick day.
