Skills/Competencies. Notwithstanding the above, skills acquired will be monitored every six months and any adjustments made accordingly. It is acknowledged that the skills used to measure competency levels include communication, safety, and technical aspects required in the work place. The following definitions are to apply to the scheduled competencies: A certificate in ‘Basic Worksite Traffic Managementissued by the Civil Contractors Federation or equivalent.

Skills/Competencies. The impact assessment will require an experienced, multidisciplinary research team. Applicants should have:  Established and credible body of work on gender and violence against women,  Demonstrated best practice in impact evaluation, preferably of interventions to reduce incidence of VAW in developing country environments.  Proven record of field implementation of large, long term and complex research and evaluation projects.  Sound understanding of appropriate statistical and survey expertise and experience, analytical and report writing skills and task management  Have previous experience of working on monitoring and evaluation systems with bi-laterals and multilaterals like DFID, World Bank and others, particularly in India.   Experience of working with and advising government in South Asia, preferably India.  Publication in international peer reviewed journals. The Lead Researchers will hold Ph.Ds in relevant fields and have at least ten years postdoctoral experience in undertaking similar types of research and impact evaluation. Field researchers will have at least Masters level qualifications relevant to the proposed research, with extensive experience of delivering fieldwork in north India, and ideally in Madhya Pradesh The Team Leader should have a minimum of 15 years of gender and social research, with a credible range of peer reviewed publications. He/she should also have proven record of undertaking robust monitoring and evaluation of large and complex social issues, particularly unequal power relations, violence against women and girls. In addition s/he should have proven experience of managing people and large projects from design to implementation with proven success, demonstrated leadership and client relationship skills; and good demonstrable networks with stakeholders including government, donors, researchers, and civil society, ideally in India.

  • Competencies The following competencies apply to this position. The employee will be assessed against these as part of their annual performance and development review.

  • Cultural Competence 1. Grantee will make reasonable efforts to provide services that meet each client’s individual needs and takes into consideration the intellectual functioning, literacy, level of education and comprehension ability of each client in order to ensure that all information is presented in a way that meets each client’s individual needs. 2. Grantee will provide services in the client's primary language either directly by Grantee or by a DFPS approved translator. 3. Grantee will have a cultural competence mission statement, core values or other similar guidance that provides how the Grantee will effectively provide these services to clients of various cultures, races, ethnic backgrounds and religions in a manner that recognizes and affirms the client’s worth, protects and preserves the client’s dignity and ensures equity of service delivery.

  • Cultural Competency 1. All program staff shall receive at least one (1) in-service training per year on some aspect of providing culturally and linguistically appropriate services. Contractor shall use good faith efforts to translate health-related materials in a culturally and linguistically appropriate manner. At least once per year and upon request, Contractor shall provide to County copies of Contractor’s health-related materials in English and as translated. 3. Contractor shall use good faith efforts to hire clinical staff members who can communicate with clients in a culturally and linguistically appropriate manner. At least once per year and upon request, Contractor shall submit to County the cultural composition and linguistic fluencies of Contractor’s staff.

  • Competency Competency at this level involves application of knowledge and skills to a range of tasks and roles. There is a defined range of contexts where the choice of actions required is clear. There is limited complexity of choice of actions required. On occasion, more complex tasks may be performed.

  • Supervisors Supervisors may continue to perform bargaining unit work which is incidental to their jobs. They may also perform bargaining unit work in emergency situations and where such work is necessary to train a covered member. Such work by supervisors may result from but shall not cause any layoffs of covered members.

  • People 4.1.1 Minimum requirements of people employed

  • Competence The Expert shall be deemed not to be an arbitrator. As a result, any applicable law or legislation with regard to arbitration shall not apply to the Expert’s appointment, opinion or the procedure according to which the Expert expresses its opinion.

  • Supervisory Employees ‌ For the purposes of this Article, the parties agree that Supervisory positions are those that are not excluded under Article 2.0 above and that satisfy the following criteria: a) Employees on Salary Schedule 01 who under Plan A "Nature of Supervision" have either Degree 3 (or higher) or its equivalent; b) Employees on Schedules 02 or 03 on condition they normally supervise other employees.
