Smoke and Haze Effects. If PAC NYC plans to utilize smoke and fog effects in any rehearsal or performance other than those generated by water vapor or dry ice products, advance notice shall be provided to the AGMA Delegates and Staff Representatives and all Employees, including, to the extent known, the name and chemical composition of the smoke or fog product for a discussion of potential health and safety concerns. 1. The PAC NYC and AGMA agree to promptly discuss any health or safety concerns in a Joint Committee or other special called meeting. If an EMPLOYEE has an underlying medical condition, supported by medical documentation, which would be aggravated by the chemical composition of the smoke and fog, such EMPLOYEE shall contact the PAC Production Management or General Management within seventy-two (72) hours of posted notice. Affected EMPLOYEES may request to be excused without penalty. 2. Thereafter, PAC NYC must notify AGMA, in writing, of any changes and/or additions to the original notification not later than 24 hours prior to the first use. PAC NYC must post all written notifications to the Employees’ callboard. 3. Adequate ventilation and exhaust equipment must be operating and in working order when a substance(s) is used. Sensors that include no less than particulate, carbon dioxide and particle shall survey these areas at all times.

Smoke and Haze Effects. (1) The Theatre agrees to use only dry ice, CO2, liquid nitrogen, vaporized water, or substances listed in the Theatrical Smoke, Fog, and Haze Testing: Calibration Factors or Time and Distance Guidelines, including any updated versions as they become available, provided by an industrial hygienist (currently Ramboll) and in accordance with the RULE 54. SAFE AND SANITARY PLACES OF EMPLOYMENT specified limits set forth in a study commissioned by the Trustees of the Equity-League Pension and Health Trust Funds, entitled EQUIPMENT-BASED GUIDELINES FOR THE USE OF THEATRICAL SMOKE AND HAZE (“Guidelines”) (revised June 8, 2001). This document is part of a larger body of work collectively referred to as the “Study”, which also includes the HEALTH EFFECTS EVALUATION OF THEATRICAL SMOKE, HAZE, AND PYROTECHNICS (dated June 6, 2000).

  • Dangerous Goods, Special Wastes, Pesticides and Harmful Substances Where employees are required to work with or are exposed to any dangerous good, special waste, pesticide or harmful substance, the Employer shall ensure that the employees are adequately trained in the identification, safe handling, use, storage, and/or disposal of same.

  • DELIVERY, STORAGE, AND HANDLING The Contractor shall be responsible to inspect all components on delivery to ensure that no damage occurred during shipping or handling for furnish and installation projects. For equipment only purchases, the ordering entity shall be responsible to inspect all components on delivery. Materials must be stored in original undamaged packaging in such a manner to ensure proper ventilation and drainage, and to protect against damage, weather, vandalism, and theft until ready for installation.

  • Occupational First Aid Requirements and Courses (a) The Union and the Employer agree that First Aid Regulations made pursuant to the Workers' Compensation Act shall be fully complied with.

  • Meteorological Data Reporting Requirement (Applicable to wind generation facilities only) The wind generation facility shall, at a minimum, be required to provide the Transmission Provider with site-specific meteorological data including: • Temperature (degrees Fahrenheit) • Wind speed (meters/second) • Wind direction (degrees from True North) • Atmosphere pressure (hectopascals) • Forced outage data (wind turbine and MW unavailability)
