Sound Levels. The Client hereby acknowledges that the Noise at Work Regulations 1989 have established that prolonged exposure to high noise levels above 85 dB(A) may cause damage to hearing and that both studios and studio users are required by law to keep exposures as low as reasonably practicable and that accordingly:
Sound Levels. The noise level of any demonstrations or sound systems or equipment must be kept to a minimum in order not to interfere with others. Show management reserves the right to determine the sound level at which the noise interferes with others and may require the Exhibitor to discontinue.
Sound Levels. 7.1 The Client hereby acknowledges that it is its responsibility to comply with all relevant legislation aimed to protect persons from exposure to high levels of noise (in particular The Control of Noise at Work Regulations 2005) as prolonged exposure to high noise levels may cause damage to hearing.
Sound Levels. Glasshouse Management reserves the right to exercise control of sound levels within the Glasshouse. Hirers shall comply with the reasonable determinations of Glasshouse Management or authorised officer in relation to sound level limits within the premises. Reasonable determinations are made in line with the Conditions of Consent of the Place of Public Entertainment Licence applicable to the Glasshouse and as defined by the NSW Environment Protection Authority. Any noisy works and works that generate vibrations are to be completed in times approved by Glasshouse Management. Glasshouse Management reserves the right to stop work in cases of excessive sound level or vibration or where they believe any personal safety or other venue activities are compromised.
Sound Levels. Effective hearing protection, (i.e. ear plugs, etc.), shall be provided for any musician exposed to consistent sound levels which exceed 90dB for a total of fifteen (15) minutes in an eight (8) hour period, upon the request of the musician or his/her representative. Effective hearing protection shall be provided where instantaneous sound levels exceed the Ontario Occupational Health & Safety Act (Sec. 139) maximum permitted level of 115 dB and a musician is closer than five (5) metres to the sound source. Where the sound levels specified in this Article are exceeded, the Producer shall install suitable and effective protective devices such as acoustical xxxxxxx and enclosures.
Sound Levels. Sound levels must be controlled so as to not cause damage to the Hall or to unreasonably disturb neighbors.
Sound Levels. Koorliny Management reserves the right to exercise control of sound levels within the Koorliny Arts Centre. Hirers shall comply with the reasonable determinations of Koorliny Management or authorised officer in relation to sound level limits within the premises. Koorliny Management reserves the right to stop work in cases of excessive sound level or vibration or where they believe any personal safety or other venue activities are compromised.
Sound Levels. Electrical and other mechanical apparatus must be muffled so that noise does not disturb other exhibitors. Music is not permitted in the booths.
Sound Levels. In line with “A Guide for Safe Working Practices in the New Zealand Theatre & Entertainment Industry”, sound levels will be closely monitored for any amplified event and if, with the use of an industry regulation decibel metre, the Venue deem sounds pressure levels to be excessive, the Hirer or their representative will be asked for levels to be reduced. The Venue reserves the right to close down the event if there is no compliance.
