Special Vacation Leave. (a) Employees shall be credited a one-time entitlement of thirty-seven decimal five (37.5) hours of vacation leave with pay on the first day of the month following the employee's second anniversary of service, as defined in clause Transitional Provision Employee with more than two (2) years of service, as defined in clause shall be credited a one-time entitlement of thirty-seven decimal five (37.5) hours of vacation leave with pay. Special Vacation Leave. (a) Employees shall be credited a one-time entitlement of thirty-seven decimal five (37.5) hours of vacation leave with pay on the first (1st) day of the month following the employee's second (2nd) anniversary of service, as defined in clause 34.03 .
Special Vacation Leave. Notwithstanding 20.03 above, vacation may be granted while students are in attendance at school, without prejudice by the Associate Superintendent of Human Resources to an employee for special circumstances insofar as the regular and efficient operation of the system will permit, provided that one (1) month advance notice, in writing, has been given by the applicant to the Associate Superintendent of Human Resources. What constitutes a “special circumstance” shall be determined by the Associate Superintendent of Human Resources.

Leave granted under this clause shall come out of the Employee’s vacation bank, if applicable, or it will be considered a leave without pay.
Special Vacation Leave. The Fire Chief may grant vacation leave to an individual when the conditions of subsection (P) of this Section cannot be met if, in his/her opinion, the reasons for the leave warrant special consideration.

  • Vacation Leave A part-time employee shall earn vacation leave credits for each month in which the employee receives pay for at least twice the number of hours in the employee’s normal workweek, at the rate for years of service established in clause 34.02 of this Agreement, prorated and calculated as follows:

  • Restoration of Vacation Leave In the event an employee is injured or becomes ill while on vacation leave, the employee may submit a written request to use sick leave and have the equivalent amount of vacation leave restored. The supervisor may require a written medical certificate.

  • Vacation Leave Maximum Employees may accumulate maximum vacation leave balances not to exceed two hundred and forty (240) hours. However, there are two (2) exceptions that allow vacation leave to accumulate above the maximum:

  • VACATION LEAVE WITH PAY 14.01 The vacation year shall be from April 1st of one calendar year to March 31st of the following calendar year inclusive.
