Staff Development Benefit Allowance Program. Due to the unavailability of funds, effective July 1, 2009, the Staff Development Benefit Allowance (described in Section 16.10) is suspended for fiscal years 2009-2010 and 2010-2011. During this period, this benefit will not be funded and reimbursement will not be made by the County with the sole exception of reimbursement for, and expenses associated with, licenses and certifications required by the job specifications. The side letter between WCE and the County on Staff Development for fiscal years 2009-2010 and 2010-2011 are attached and incorporated by this reference to this MOU (Appendix D). This benefit will be reinstated effective July 1, 2011.

  • Multi-year Planning Targets Schedule A may reflect an allocation for the first Funding Year of this Agreement as well as planning targets for up to two additional years, consistent with the term of this Agreement. In such an event, the HSP acknowledges that if it is provided with planning targets, these targets: a. are targets only, b. are provided solely for the purposes of planning, c. are subject to confirmation, and d. may be changed at the discretion of the Funder in consultation with the HSP. The HSP will proactively manage the risks associated with multi-year planning and the potential changes to the planning targets; and the Funder agrees that it will communicate any changes to the planning targets as soon as reasonably possible.

  • Meal Allowance A shift worker who works a qualifying shift of eight hours or the rostered shift, whichever is the greater, and who is required to work more than one hour beyond the end of the shift (excluding any break for a meal) shall be paid a meal allowance of $7.95, or, at the option of the employer, be provided with a meal.
