State of Health; Short-Term Health Warranty. The puppy/dog was preiously examined by a licensed veterinarian and found to be in good health at that time, had had the immunizations enumerated in the health records provided to Buyer. Buyer, at it’s own expense, must have puppy/dog examine by a licensed veterinarian within 72 hours of receiving puppy/dog unless otherwise discussed and agreed upon by Xxxxxxx, for the guarantee in this section to be valid. If, within the examination period, a licensed veterinatian finds the puppy/dog to be unhealthy or ufit for sale, the puppy/dog may be returned to Breeder and a replacement puppy will be provided as soon as one is availabe. The veterinarian must provide written statement deemig the puppy/dog “unfit for purchase”, which must be sent to Breeder within 48 hours of veterinary examination. The foregoing guarantee expressly excludes (1) any health issues caused by Xxxxx’s ill treatment, abuse, neglect (2)any health issues that result from the puppy /dog’s transportation from Breeder to Buyer and (3) all minor illnesses ad health issues, including upper respiratory infections, allergic reactions, stress colitis/diarrhea, internal or external parasites or contagious viruses (including canine parvovirus), uti’s, vaginitis or umbilical hernias.

Do not let the puppy walk on the floor in the veterinary office and ensure the room was cleaned prior to putting your puppy on the table. If, within the Examination Period, a licensed veterinarian finds the puppy/dog to be unhealthy or unfit for sale, the puppy/dog may be returned to Breeder for a full refund of the Purchase Price. The veterinarian must provide a written statement deeming the puppy/dog “unfit for purchase”, which must be sent to Breeder within 48 hours of the veterinary examination. A 30 day health insurance through Trupanion will be provided to buyers to use. Seller will provide all the details to ensure buyers activate the insurance to cover their pups from any expensive injuries or health issues within 30 days. Long-Term Health Warranty. Breeder provides a 6-month warranty from the puppy/dog’s date of birth against any congenital conditions. For purposes of this section, “congenital conditions” (i) include hip/ elbow dysplasia, epilepsy, extent cataract damage, Intervertebral Disk Disease, and (“IVDD”), Gastric Dilation Volvulus (“GVD”) .In the event the puppy/dog exhibits symptoms of a suspected debilitating congenital condition, Buyer must immediately inform Breeder and supply any requested veterinary records to Breeder.

If, within the Examination Period, a licensed veterinarian finds the kitten/cat to be unhealthy or unfit for sale, the kitten/cat may be returned to Breeder for a full refund of the Purchase Price. The veterinarian must provide a written statement deeming the kitten/cat “unfit for purchase”, which must be sent to Breeder within 48 hours of the veterinary examination. The foregoing guarantee expressly excludes (x) any health issues caused by Buyer’s ill-treatment, abuse or neglect, (y) any health illnesses and health issues, including upper respiratory infections, allergic reactions, stresscolitis/ diarrhea, internal or external parasites or contagious viruses (including canine parvovirus), UTIs, vaginitis or umbilical hernias.

  • Occupational Health and Safety Act The Employer, the Union, and the Employees recognize they are bound by the provisions of the Occupational Health and Safety Act, S.N.S. 1996, c.7, and appropriate federal acts and regulations. Any breach of these obligations may be grieved pursuant to this Agreement.

  • OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH & SAFETY (a) It is a mutual interest of the parties to promote health and safety in workplaces and to prevent and reduce the occurrence of workplace injuries and occupational diseases. The parties agree that health and safety is of the utmost importance and agree to promote health and safety and wellness throughout the organization. The employer shall provide orientation and training in health and safety to new and current employees on an ongoing basis, and employees shall attend required health and safety training sessions. Accordingly, the parties fully endorse the responsibilities of employer and employee under the Occupational Health and Safety Act, making particular reference to the following:

  • Federal Occupational Safety and Health Law Contractor represents and warrants that all articles and services shall meet or exceed the safety standards established and promulgated under the Federal Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970, as amended (29 U.S.C. Chapter 15).

  • Short Term Leaves Short Term Leaves are designed to allow Teachers who have to apply for short term personal leaves of absence not otherwise covered by this Collective Agreement.

  • Short Term Leave Members who are LTD trustees and Union stewards or designates may apply in writing to the Employer for short term leaves of absence for; attendance at union conventions, union courses, and union committees. The employee will give reasonable notice, which will be at least seven (7) days. The Employer will make every reasonable effort to accommodate such leave, and shall grant it subject to the ability to maintain the operational needs of the department. With the exception of members of the Union's executive, the employer is not required to grant more than twenty (20) days LOA per calendar year under this provision.

  • Extended Health Care Plan ‌ The Employer shall pay the monthly premium for regular employees entitled to coverage under a mutually acceptable extended health care plan.

  • Occupational Safety and Health Acts Contractor(s) who perform any work under this contract shall fully comply with the provisions of the Federal Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970 and any amendments thereto and regulations pursuant to the act. Any Contractor who fails to do so may be terminated for cause as set forth below.

  • Family and Medical Leave Act of 1993 The parties agree that the Employer may adopt policies to implement the Family and Medical Leave Act of 1993 that are in accord with what is legally permissible under the Act.

  • OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH AND SAFETY 34.01 The parties recognize the need for a safe and healthy workplace. The Employer shall be responsible for providing safe and healthy working conditions. The Employer and Employees will take all reasonable steps to eliminate, reduce or minimize all workplace safety hazards. Occupational health and safety education, training and instruction provided by the Employer, shall be paid at the Basic Rate of Pay, to fulfill the requirements for training, instruction or education set out in the Occupational Health and Safety Act, Regulation or Code. (a) There shall be an Occupational Health and Safety Committee (Committee), which shall be composed of representatives of the Employer and representatives of the Local and may include others representing recognized functional bargaining units. This Committee shall meet once a month, and in addition shall meet within 10 days of receiving a written complaint regarding occupational health or safety. An Employee shall be paid the Employee’s Basic Rate of Pay for attendance at Committee meetings. A request to establish separate committees for each site or grouping of sites shall not be unreasonably denied. The Employer shall provide training at no cost to all Employees on the Committee to assist them in performing their duties on the Committee. Training shall be paid at the Employee’s Basic Rate of Pay. (b) Minutes of each meeting shall be taken and shall be approved by the Employer, the Local, and other bargaining groups, referred to in (a), prior to circulation. (c) The purpose of the Committee is to consider such matters as occupational health and safety and the Local may make recommendations to the Employer in that regard. (d) If an issue arises regarding occupational health or safety, the Employee or the Local shall first seek to resolve the issue through discussion with the applicable immediate supervisor in an excluded management position. If the issue is not resolved satisfactorily, it may then be forwarded in writing to the Committee. (e) The Committee shall also consider measures necessary to ensure the security of each Employee on the Employer’s premises and the Local may make recommendations to the Employer in that regard. (f) (i) Should an issue not be resolved by the Committee, the issue shall be referred to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO). A resolution meeting between the Local and the CEO, or designate(s), shall take place within 21 calendar days of the issue being referred to the CEO. The CEO or designate(s) shall reply in writing to the Local within seven (7) calendar days of the resolution meeting.

  • Short Term Disability The Employer agrees to provide Short Term Disability benefits to all active full-time employees from the first (1st) day of an accident or the first (1st) full-time day of hospitalized or the fourth (4th) day of sickness. The Plan will pay sixty-six and two thirds percent (66 2/3%) of basic earnings for the first two (2) weeks, then Unemployment Insurance will pay fifteen (15) weeks, then the Plan will resume payments for thirty-five (35 weeks).
